The best melodic phrasing I've ever heard in my life. I always complain that contemporary artists lack the theoretical and pragmatical competence to perform such colourful sounding chord progressions and lead lines, but Haywyre is the prime example of what innovation is. What a beautiful performance. Music beyond comprehension. I hope to be able to compose like this one day. Forget the brilliant sound design that he also makes of, if I could have just the ability to make progressions and phrases like that, I'd be beyond ecstatic.

this song is my favorite example of weird samples - there's the sound of a breath in used pretty often to carry between silences in the beginning. feels totally natural and you wouldn't even notice it played unless you were listening out for it.
