Here's my A5 binder set up for August. I'm a bit nervous about the travel with this system, but let me know if you have any tips or suggestions!
I don't have any ideas for you but I just wanted to say that I love all of your videos. It makes it so much easier for me as a teenager with an aspiration to be a published author. Keep being the amazing you!

Keep your contact sheet and fill it out with your top 5 contacts. Mine was a life saver when I was stranded and I my cell phone was dead. Always have a back up. (I also keep a top 5 list between my phone and phone case... That was helpful when I got locked out of my Airbnb.) 💖🌞🌵😷
If you aren't in a more permanent home by the first of the year.... Don't forget that you can print out HB90 at Staples or Kinkos or even the public library. 💖🌞🌵😷
One thing that saves me space on my rings is instead of having extra notes pages in every section, have one section where you keep 5-10 blank pages to draw from, instead of 5 blanks in 5 or 6 sections. You can always draw more pages from the notebook with future pages. I was really surprised how much room it saved and that I only had to refill the blanks about once a month... Which was no big deal as I was switching out my other pages anyway. 💖🌞🌵😷
You can always put a planner in a dust bag or pillow case and store under your seat until you need it.
If you'll have a separate notebook for future pages, plan on that notebook becoming your archive notebook as you switch pages from your "working" notebook. 💖🌞🌵😷

My husband and I traveled for six years in an RV and loved the experience. We even traveled all over Europe in an RV as well. You can take this experience as a great opportunity. I wish I was going, too.

I read a book called who moved my cheese and it helped me to learn to adjust for change and not be stuck. I'm sad about your house but happy for your new adventure
You're going on an adventure! That's so exciting! It's very impressive that you are being so incredibly positive about your situation. As you prepare for your travels, I think you should be much more selective in what you take with you. This is not the same as "moving" where all your stuff can follow you. You will be essentially living out of your car with your husband and two kids. Space is a premium, and you definitely will not need all the things you think you will. You also need to consider all the packing and unpacking that you will be doing. Travel is an adventure at first, and you will quickly get tired of packing and unpacking as you go from place to place. As you prepare to leave, pay attention to what you use every day. Not once or twice a month or a year. Then challenge yourself to use less. What is the absolute minimum that you need to function? What supplies can you bring that serve multiple functions? How much can you digitize? You may need to adopt a more minimalist lifestyle temporarily. I know that is so scary. But take this time to invest in your future sanity. You can do a ton in just a single spiral notebook. You can use pens instead of stickers or highlighters instead of washi. Once you settle in a new place, having all your supplies at hand again will feel better than Christmas morning. Lastly, give yourself some grace. You won't really know the perfect system until you are on the road for a while. Breathe into the chaos and know that you will be okay, no matter what happens.
I get that you want the set up to be pretty but you could cut out a lot of the bulk by having either the printed vellums or the clear tabs, there is a lot of double up of pages in places you even have 3 dividers and pretty picture pages. You can always print out quotes and stick them on the clear tab pages to keep them looking pretty and be inspired. That might help cut back on the bulk a little.
You are a real inspiration and you are even handling this new situation (that might have floored somebody else )with intrepid spirit. God Bless you and your family !
I would combine the editorial calendars, I don't think you have more than one video a day but even when you do you can fit more than one sticker in a box.

You can use digital planners for some things, but I'm sure you've thought of this already (like a notebook, health tracker, mindfullness and journaling, etc). :) Don't elimate your joy (dashboards and stickers etc), just take what you want and send things back if you find it's unneeded later. Honestly I'd probably just pack light with clothing and stuff so I could keep all my planners lol. I hope you have a great time! Transitions are magical once you get through them and have time to reflect. I can't wait to see where your journey takes you.

This is good to see because I’m considering going back into rings. I only have ever used personal size rings but it always ends up feeling too small.
I have one Filofax personal and I can't ever use it for the same reason. A5 works great for me but even that's too small for some.

I had an idea for decreasing the size of your A5 Kikki K- what if you get those Avery sticky tabs and put them on some of the pages you want to have sections for, and just take out the vellum and plastic inserts with tabs. That's just what I was thinking would be a good idea. Or maybe do that and have only a small set of dividers with the tabs. Idk. Up to you. ❤️
Sarra, you say you have a Cricut, which one do you recommend? I have heard that the Silhouette machine is better for stickers. Thoughts?
I have an old circut explore air. It was a gift, but I plan to donate it or sell it before we leave. When we get settled I will probably buy a silhouette because I have heard it is better for stickers too and that's what I use it for most!!

@@HeartBreathings Family is the best during these big transitions! You’re a fiction writer but after all is said and done you might have a nonfiction book on organizing ready to go.
There is so much repetition between sections that it makes me anxious - I would look for ways to consolidate. Also I would lose the dashboard and quote pages or at least reduce them greatly to get the bulk down.
oh my gosh! No subscription boxes every month?! I would hate that.
I'd worry that all those pretty things in the front (bows, die cuts) will be too high maitenance on the road. They can get misplaced or destroyed easily.
