I find Prada L'homme and Dior Homme to be completely different. Yes, they both have iris, but to my nose, the comparison ends there. The former is a crisp, clean, newly washed linen feel; the latter an elegant cocoa, leathery sense. Very, very different in my view.
Great review Sebastian! I've been looking forward to sampling this one based on the comparisons to Dior Homme. DH is one of my all-time favorite fragrances; I fall in love again every time I wear it. I'm curious to see how Prada's neroli/iris compares to DH's iris/leather and whether it's distinguished enough to warrant a pickup. As for occasion, I'd be mainly looking at work/office for this one. hi , nice review i dont agree what you say about Prada l'hpomme smells like dior homme/valentino uomo ... maybe people say that because of the vibe of iris but its dont smell like it ...at all in IMO. I get lot of Iris for the first 10-15 min, i get like a soapyness about it, with neroli on the top and when dries down i got more of black pepper and geranium comes in . So for me the dries down is a mix of Iris, cedar and lot of amber and a bit of geranium...and its really a nice frgarance....but it just my opinion. Thank You.

I also think Prada is the most average fragrance on the market given the price. Maybe the blend I have is simply different because few people seem to hate it and then you have a good majority who seem totally in love with it. But I am not joking, when I received my sample, on the back of my mind, I was thinking it might be a cheap counterfeit. Minimalistic, basic and linear scent. Valentino Uomo is on a whole different planet than this.

L'homme reminds me of Dior Homme and HM by Hanae Mori together. It's that playful combination of citrus and Iris with a little gourmandish drydown. I don't own this but I think it's a great release by Prada.

Seems like a lot of new fragrance are '' Piggie Backing '' off of DHT, and DH. I purchased Valentino Oumo Intense and it smells just like DHT. When you a chance sample VOI, and tell me your opinion. Like your reviews.
I get alot of compliments wearing this one. A guy even stopped the elevator just to ask what I was wearing coz I smell really good. Its kinda expensive here though along with guerlain fragrance. Prada lhomme works really good in the office or cooler weather and it lasts longer when I wear it in the office. Can you also make a video of whats the best fragrance to wear in high heat or in the beach? I really enjoy watching your videos. Thanks

Wowww! I was wondering why the performance was so tricky on my skin. I would get showered and dressed, spray this frag all over and it would last only 3 hours max but when I first sampled it on my skin in Bloomingdales , which had been in the middle of the day, it would last about 6-7 hours. That's so odd! I don't particularly like that ...but I love the scent so much that I'll be purchasing it anyway.

Nothing will compare to that 1950’s lipstick on a tissue at the bottom of a purse smell that Dior Homme has. But, that said, Prada is always pushing the envelope, and there’s no exception here. To me, it has a warm cashmere scarf fragrance to it. A vanilla latte, if you will, mixed with buttercream. It’s nice, but not a powerhouse. I believe made for a sophisticate type of man. One who drives a leather interior car. Or, maybe he is “driven” instead. Nonetheless, it’s a great basic, upscale frag. I enjoy a good Prada now and again.

strangely...i got an odd 'wintergreen" note after about a half hr..whic lasted until the drydown..dont know why...after that i really appreciated the dry down till the end...i also liked the soft projection..for work.....it does seem to last but only in whiffs.....i still like it very much..its simple. I Love DH very much...but i do think this one is great for warmer weather whereas DH is best in my opinion in fall/winter/early spring here in NY....thanks for the review...Bob

I think there's no need to say this is unoriginal. It's inspired by a modern-classic cologne for men. Dior Homme itself is different from every men's fragrances out there. Unoriginal is basically cloning an existing one, like CDNIM for Aventus, and a sea of Dior Sauvage clones.
I've sampled this recently I really love most of Prada's colognes. I find it is pretty much a skin scent after a couple of hours. I would take Prada Amber any day of the week over this release. It's pretty much "blah" to me - it smells pleasant but nothing very unique. I love Dior Homme but not really smelling any similarity. I live in Oregon and love Dior Homme. Again I don't smell much of a similarity but maybe I need another sample to make sure!

Nordstom takes them back because I knew someone and I've been a good customer. If you know people they will take it back but if it's a one-off and you've never shopped there usually not. Macy's on the other hand doesn't.
