Beautiful piece. I love the subtleness of that translucent dial. The handset is one of my favorites, with emphasis on the trident 🔱 counterbalance of the seconds hand. Quality!
Great review. Added this CW to my other six Wards. Love the quality, price point and the company’s ability to keep producing new product at a fraction of higher end Swiss manufacturers prices. Earlier models had average lume but improvement in every new watch since has proved that they’ve upped their game continuously and are making great watches at amazing value for money. The bigger players in Swiss made watches need to follow suit as they are producing inferior watches at a much higher price point and quite frankly can’t compete with Chris Ward at present. Why buy elsewhere when CW are nailing it. Their diver Trident Pro 600 range are unmatched and brilliant value. Go buy one. You’ll be so glad you did.
I'm not normally a blue watch guy but even after them releasing black and then the orange I still think the blue that, I'm happy to say, I own, looks best. I was curious about your assessment and thoughts. Insightful and thorough, as usual. I look forward to getting through the rest of your reviews. 'Feel good factor' with this watch is just like you say.
Thank you for watching Stephen. Check out my C60 Trident Pro 600 review (see link below). It may interest you. Excellent choice, the blue version is one of my favourite Christopher Ward pieces. Regards. th-cam.com/video/WlHWey0YByE/w-d-xo.html
A Fantastic review-Thank You. I was waiting to pull the trigger and stumbled across your channel for a very in depth neutral review. Liked and Sub. I love that its not trying to replicate a high end brand, nice touch with the combination strap as I'm not a lover of rubber etc and the blue open case back matching the overall colour design ticks all the boxes. Sold.
Thank you for watching Noel. Glad you enjoyed it. I am looking forward to reviewing their new C63 Sealander Automatic soon. That is my personal favourite of all their watches. Regards.
Thank you for watching Paul. Glad you enjoyed it. Christopher Ward are one of my favourite brands. They are making several great watches this year. Soon they will be releasing a blue version of the C63 Sealander which I am really looking forward to seeing. I would love to see them make an updated blue dial version of the C60 in 40mm with the logo at 12, and date at 6. The Lightcatcher case on the C60 is one of my favourites. The comfort level is excellent due to the undercuts in the flanks of the case. Regards, #WR4K
John, I just ordered the black Bay 58 blue san martin watch because of you. Now I see this Christopher Ward watch and I'm like oh boy that looks awesome too. I'm sorry to say but my wife hates you with a passion ! 🤣🤑🤪 Which of those two watches do you like the best?? My wrist is 7 and a quarter and I paid only 266.00 for the San Martin. I think for the money the san Martin is the much better value because the Christopher Ward although besutiful is 5 times as much money. Your thoughts my friend ?? Ray
Congratulations Ray. Excellent choice. The blue SN008-G is one of the best San Martin watches ever made. I was going to add a V3 to my own personal collection in the sale; but then I saw the SN006-G2 (Snowflake Submariner homage) was being released, so I bought that instead. For your 7.25" wrist the SN008-G will be a perfect fit. Even on my 8" wrist the 39mm case is very comfortable, and well proportioned. The C60 Sapphire looks great as the dial is interesting. However it isn't worth the premium over the SN008-G. Yes, the case finishing is higher level; and the SW200-1 is better than the PT5000. However these things do not justify the massive price difference. I would choose the SN008-G over the C60 Sapphire. 266 USD is an excellent price. Wear yours in good health. Regards, #WR4K
@WR4K thank you John for your opinion. Now I really feel good that I made a good decision on that San Martin bb58 blue. Now I'm going to check out the snoo6. I hope you didn't cost me more money. Lol
@WR4K John, let me know how that new sn006 compares to the blue bb58. The lugs say 49mm and the thickness is 13mm. Did you order that one instead because of the Submariner case or the square indices ?? What made you choose that one over the blue black Bay 58 ? Ray
Thank you for watching. I have also said "good evening" in some of my reviews too. I record my reviews at different times of the day so just say whatever is apt at the time. Regards.

Hi, had a question about the rubber strap -- can you tell what is the color of the strap? Is it more like navy blue or like royal blue? Thanks!
Navy blue. Regards, #WR4K

Nice watch but pricey for a base SW200 movement. They should have released it as COSC certified.
Thank you for watching. Yes, COSC chronometer certification would make it more competitive. Regards.
