the gifts are probably pocketed for managements girlfriends.
I can a bit understand them wanting to have the Playbuttons (it's just stupid that they don't order two and give one to the talent, come on, it's 150 dollar, that should be a nothingburger).
But the gifts? That blatently STEALING! Because the gifts were NEVER meant for Nijisanji - they were meant for the talents. And not to looked at in the Niji office - but to be at home. It's heardbreaking to hear not only for Minto, but also for her fans, that Niji literally STOLE thousands of dollars from them!
If I had send a gift to any Niji talent - I would now go to the police and file a case there, that seemingly my gift to that specific talent was stolen by her company. At least in Germany a company is NOT allowed to hold back gifts for the talents they represent and I think also in Japan it's a crime.
So, Dragoons, Pomerians and whoever is there, you know what to do, especially when you are living in Japan, if you have send a gift to your talent: File a report to the police that you have the suspicion, that your gift to that talent got stolen. No, don't worry, you can't get in trouble, it's in your legal rights to file that complaint, Niji has to proof that they sent the gifts to the talents (any 1% properly working accountant will have the receipts of the packages send to the talents, so if they don't, they never sent them).
Niji is a black company crewed by scum - they leech pay from their employees to pay for company taxes while telling the talents it's for their taxes. They keep the play-buttons as trophies and can't be bothered to let them have their own copies because that's something that might boost the morale of said talents, after all, gotta keep them down. And, they keep gifts given to said talents because again, it costs money to send that to them AND you just can't let them have any signs of affection from their fans, that might make them think they have any individual value.
Niji is furnishing the yacht with TH-cam plaques and fans gifts...
Japan really needs to fix what they legally consider Slander. I live in the USA that is as stereotypically pro corporate as it gets, but if the corporation does the something, it's never slander to tell others what has happened as long as it is true.
You can't even quit your job as it's considered taboo and you can be shunned. Japan is a North Korea wannabe.
Speaking as an American that's travelled the world a bit for work, USA is actually not as pro-corporate as most countries...
about the gifts thing i might be wrong but i heard Ollie once said the talent not allowed to received any gift they only allowed to receive fan mail or fan card due to security reason because it might have apple tag or other tracking devices hidden inside it and would put the talent in actual danger so most of the gift are kept in the office even the mail has to go security check before it sent to the talent, idk bout Niji policies but if its for security reason and to actually protect the talent Niji might be for once do the right thing for their talent

No, mail fraud not, as the letters and packages are adressed to Nijisanji and the talent. So they are allowed to open them.
But I don't know any country that doesn't start with a C where it's ok to hold back a present that is meant for a specific person

I hate that they just can not even try to get ahead of them or even just match the current gen. >.>;
And they will probably slow the game's story down and maybe even add RE0 to the Remake as well. I would not be surprised seeing as both games basically happen during the same time frame in te timeline after all. ^^;
And honestly: I dunno if "going on hiatus to learn Japanese & to learn how to sing better" is a really good reason to be honest. I mean: Knox could do it while reducing his activities. I mean: If a non-VTuber person wants to learn a language or get better at singing, they do not take a hiatus from their work to learn it. No, they learn it during their own free time. So in his case, he could take days off in the week, or do it during the time he isn't streaming.
The planing of events and things (collabs and actual events, and maybe a new model or stuff like that) THAT is much more of a good reason for the hiatus to be honest: Because those take so much more time and resources and everything to do. So in that case I definitely think taking an actual hiatus is a good thing (though he should also ask Niji for help with that).

Nintendo is generally considered good because they don’t do what the other consoles do, they innovate each generation than only focus on making graphics better that 0.1% of developers can currently develop for.
