I dont like cvt either but i have to say Subaru CVT gives u a feeling closer / similar to mazda torque converter 6-speed, which is pretty good as far as cvt is concerned. I have driven only crv turbo for a short while and i dont like that feeling and noise.

But just a bit confused about maintaining low gear in cvt, as theres no L and cant select 2 3. how ya? just leave it control itself, and we just maintain cruise downhill without stepping on gas? So if we leave the cvt control itself, it wont go up to gear 4 above?
Sometime it's too slow then I step on the throttle, or not I will just let it roll . If there's no L for CVT, you may shift it to S. If there no S, no choice you just need to let CVT do it's job

我觉得x50不能说是proton车，因为proton只是负责卖罢了
proton也負責組裝，其實perodua ativa也不是perodua車，它只不過是負責組裝售賣而已。
