Ik im super late, but something I’ve noticed is that the ‘gusto choochoo’ thomas seems to be a copy of the ‘lets go Thomas’ toy. Just because the the mouth opens and closes and the eyes move up and down. Both things that the lets go thomas toy was popular for. Also the fact that the toys spin around and move foward and back are both things that the lets go thomas did.
The 'Bubble Train' is probably the coolest and best represented Knockoff Thomas I've ever seen. Well done with the whole video. I really love this series. Surprisingly,there isn't that much knock off Thomas here in the US (except on eBay). The only one I've ever seen in public was a Tomy Big Loader set in Texas. It looked just like the usual one, except Thomas, Percy, and Lorry had no faces.
Watching the Thomas Dark Side videos always makes me thankful that I haven't had any knock-off encounters in the toy aisles in my retail work experience and customer experience.
As always, great video! Some really odd stuff... esp that balaclava! I liked the gear train (Forgotten the name of it already)... indeed, it reminds me of big big loaders. I pity the people that fall for these traps!
One day, you should collect a whole variety of "Dark Side" TOMY/Trackmaster Thomases and possibly race them or do a "Dark Side Comparison" between different Dark Side versions of Thomas. (For example, that odd green Thomas vs. the 1993 TOMY clone Thomas.)

If only that swing function on the 2nd set you showed was at an amusement park I can't make out the tune the Bubble Thomas was playing, but that an improvement over the other chips The balaclavas, "Japanise drink" and bandi mini Thomas stuff seem legit

The warnings on the bottom of the Bubble Thomas are the *exact same* warnings that I found on a knock off Beyblade box at a flea market! I think "dark side" products recycle warnings that aren't really warnings for that actual product... (And yes, these are some of the most hilarious warnings ever!)

35:10 it got stuck because it has those type of bubbles that don’t pop on plastic or rubber only on pavement so I’m guessing you are supposed to use it outside if you get one of these. Good video though.

8:35 another way of telling them apart is that Lego bricks all have Lego on the studs or for Lego duplo inside the studs and the minifigures have Lego put on in every head body and legs and hair or hats so if your curious just keep that in mind to see if it’s fake or real 👍👍
