Also for those who call you out as promoting these knock off products, i clearly have one thing to say to them. Dose destruction, negative feedback, and demonstrating why these products are dangerous and deadly and should not be bought count as promoting? Sorry that they call you out like that, btw i really do love your video's and enjoy seeing them, it brightens up my day seeing them and are entertaining and funny to watch, i do hope to see more even through these dark times cause it helps. As usual, I love the slow-mo. However, there were two things I noticed that I was surprised you didn't talk about: 1: The Dark Side Mac isn't actually from 'Cars'. The pic on the back is a toy based on the REAL truck, like Hot Wheels. Then they took that truck and put some 'Cars' stickers on it. You can especially tell this in the front because it looks like Mac is evil, his wheels are in a Hot Wheels fashion, and the grid on the front doesn't have a mouth. 2. The cardboard piece onto of the "Team Lightning McQueen 95' is shaped specially so that Mac's head and the 'Cars 2' logo can bulge out. In a comparison to the 'Thomas and Friends' one, the cardboard on top has the exact same shape with the 'cars 2' bulges, except this one is meant for 'Thomas and Friends'. This means that whoever made the Dark Side 'Thomas and Friends' one was literally ripping off the Dark Side 'Cars 2'. They ripped off the rip off. Two things I thought you might want to know, but this was still a great vid. Well done, and Merry Christmas Leo!!

Disney or any company with a franchise being bootlegged does not have much control over the companies making the Knockoffs. That's why they are still so abundant.
Totally agree with you Leo....sad thing is that in Australia we have to pay $10 for one diecast Cars toy, while in the US you can get them for close to $3.50. If the insane mark up on legit toys wasn't so high, these dark side toys and their sellers wouldn't have the market share they currently do.

I just wanted to say that 1, I really like your videos, and 2, I am an absolutely massive Cars fan and these videos actually inspired me to try getting cheap knockoffs and restoring them- redoing the paint, gluing everything together with Gorilla glue, sanding off the plastic burrs, etc.

Maters tall tales a series of short episodes released after the movie. I was suckered into buying a set of cars nock off toys before I even new that sort of thing existed. Your right the packaging is very deceiving if you don't know what to look for. My son was never even allowed to play with them when I opened them cause they were falling apart in my hands.
