In retail sports cards, it looks like 2023 Topps Chrome Blaster Boxes are being stocked by the dozens at each store. With a $35 price point, it’s hard to believe that these blaster boxes will sell considering the odds are horrendous. Will you be buying any 2023 Topps Chrome retail?

As a set builder retail is great for base cards...any parallels or inserts that are worth anything is icing on the cake...tested the urban legend about boxes from dealers/distributers vs retail... pulled basic junk from retail... pulled some nice parallels from dealers box including a 10/25 orange speckled adley rutschman😎

I agree. I’m also a set builder and retail is best for building sets but it’s definitely hard to hit anything good besides base.

Not at all surprised that you can’t just get Ohtani and acunas. They are tough pulls for that reason. And it’s obvious that all the big TH-camrs at national pulled huge cards. Set up perfectly by topps.

Topps has gotten so lazy, and lackadaisical since the sale, I simply won't spend for the bigger boxes. Watching people rip this year's Chrome has been an absolute joke.
Chrome hobby isn't worth $80, let alone $180.
I know people have pulled killer...blah...blah...blah, ...MOST of these abortions have the 1 crap auto of some AA "prospect," 2 color 2 prism, maybe 2 #'d...MOSTLY, again, of Gabriel Moreno or Jake Cave...
NEVER buy Topps products for AT LEAST 1-2 months after release, gives you a better idea on what the real odds are.
Topps is being outdone by Donruss, and with good reason. You can get a Donruss hobby for the proce of a Chrome Mega, and you're getting THREE autos, and color all over the place. The wrong guys hold the MLB licensing, and it shows.
