Two reasons (1) to avoid double talking to Agatha and (2) there is a window in which you can step up while the door animation is playing - holding up makes it free to save that step in the overworld after the fight (no effect at all on how text scrolls unfortunately lol)
how does horn drill work? i mean, i remember when i was a kid, it doesnt have 100% accuracy. why is it that, his rhydon horn drill doesnt miss? does it have something to do with the speed of the user? i think it hits if your pokemon has better speed
On Gameboys (except the original and Pocket) that displayed the games in colour, you could change the colour palette on the startup screen using button combinations - there's a brown one that shows the shading, which he uses.
Wtf? He is pretending nothing, he just made himself king of Gen1 with his records. Also Werster quit long ago. Pokeguy completely killed Gen1 to a point where its very unlikely that these records get broken without a big new strat discovery. Which is very unlikely given how deeply analyzed these games are.

I remember beating this game like 30 times as a kid. My play time was always around 24 hours by the end of the elite 4. 2 hours is insane
What is different about Classic?
Classic is no RNG Manipulation, no bike shop instant text, and no Marowak Pokedoll skip, meaning you have to do rocket hideout in the game corner.

He uses X accuracy which makes it hit 100% of the time
