- There was something for everybody on Stevie Wonder's landmark album, "Songs From The Key Of Life". His tribute the the big band era was "Sir Duke", then he told you a story about his youth in "I Wish" a wonderfully funky tune punctuated by that horn section that seems to energize this tired ole butt.
Then I heard "Another Star", Stevie Wonder's shining disco moment with a latin rhythm section that made me feel like I was dancing in the the streets of Cuba. It sounded very boomy and full in the club. "Another Star" was a #2 disco hit in the US for Stevie.
P.S.: The passion and musicianship and artistry on this song are the very zenith of those concepts.
DJ just got all I can say is is that you really had your groove on to be very honest with you I have never heard the song before but I will never forget it this was like morning afternoon evening night and all in between nothing but fantastic fantastic music I danced you the whole thing and my blonde hair is standing on top of my head I am serious 😁. You know I love dancing but where did this song come from by Stevie Wonder I Don't know what country or state I was in at the time that this came out but this is definitely a groove that I will never ever forget. Thank you for all of the motivation the height energy of the music all I can say is that this was totally 100% percent out of sight. All I ask is for the next time you play the song would you please let me know ahead of time so I can wrap my hair up and we begin my groove thank you DJ 😁🥀🎶🎶🐈🥀. MY GOD, this is such a good remix! I listen to a lot of your stuff, especially at work, helps me go a little faster. I've had this one on my list since you put it out, and it really brings out the majesty of Stevie Wonder in his prime. One of your absolute best!

We were so excited when the Songs in the Key of Life album was released! Later on I "upgraded" the album to a CD which I still listen to - to this day.

This is Stevie Wonder's most iconic album. It is my absolute favorite album of all time, and then, The Secret Life Of Plants. His voice, music and songs were the most amazing and influential to me. No other artist can compare. I listened to this album every day for years. This is an amazing rendition. Thank you. Stevie Wonder is my all-time favorite musical artist. This is a beautiful version. Stevie's Grace, love and compassion to include so many great artist, including George Benson, Bobbi Humphry, Quincy Jones, Sing, among others: writers, producers, vocalists, family, friends and associates, welcomed and embraced us all, his fans, completely. He is forever a great prophet sent from above, a great psalmist, a big brother and friend, so patiently willing to help guide us toward Jesus.

We listened to the entire double album, Me instantly loving each song. Another Star was one of my Favorites 😍 ❤️

This song, it's emotional plea and passion of an unrequited love, made me realise that Stevie Wonder's 'vision' was superlative, something far more reaching than a sighted person. It is SO GOOD to have this 14 min version to immerse myself in whilst stepping out of day to day reality to absorb music. Purrfection indeed, sir.

When I'm angry and worked up, I listen to this song. It doesn't get rid of it, but it somehow syncs up with the frequency and somehow transforms it and turns it into something manageable.

He was incorporating different styles within the worldwide pan African cultures. And doing very well. Ya'll better back the fuck up. I come all the way from the Finger Tips Era. Stevie Wonder sang, we listened, bought albums and ticket, read the liner notes in albums, got girlfriends too. Stevie wanted justice for his Foundational Black American Brothers and Sisters. My fav Stevie track re-done by my fav DJCat. I once saw some footage or a short documentary or something how many layers this track has and how they mixed the vocals and everything. That was mind-blowing to say the least. Thank you for this one. I almost always play it in my sets, but this version could replace the original one sometimes. Cannot be long enough for the dancers and screamers-along!

It was sampled several times as far as I know, in some catchy Disco House Tunes which became classics themselves in the meantime. Maybe this is the reason because you recognize the intro?
