Your absolutely NOT lying. Never thought of that. Especially, since the man is STILL singing and sings BETTER, as well as Him still putting music out. There's a newer song that plays frequently on Sirius XM Heart & Soul station channel 48. How many people here are part of the younger generation, say up to 25 years old, that love this kind of music and other dance hits from the 70's? The older generation loves when you appreciate the music from our era. :)
70s-80s funk/disco and Bluegrass is literally the only music I ever listen to lol. I grew up listening to a lot of funk and soul, and I’m from NC close to the Appalachians so that explains most of it. I also love 50s doo-wop and 60s Motown. I’m 18 and love to rock out with my record player in my basement every now and then 😄.

Danced to this song at the high school dances back in 1976 when I was a freshmen. I was, and still am, and great dancer. The black kids would dance with me, ask me to do the "robot", the "bump", etc. Those were some great times!
