I discovered the Concordia series through your new release videos and ordered the volumes on Mark after checking out the author on YT. I could not be happier. I don't care about the theological leanings of scholars as long as I come away more excited about a book than when I started. The depth of insight into Mark's Greek and grammar can be intimidating, but it acknowledges the supernatural setting of the Gospel and I look forward to exploring it more at length. Thanks for bringing it to my attention.
In the US, there are no 'laws' that dictate or regulate the release of new or second editions. There may be common practices or conventions, but in the area of commentaries, it can simply be the update of a bibliography, even if the text is not updated to reflect any of the new scholarship noted in the updated bibliography.
The Biblical Hebrew dictionary would be awesome to have if you want to clear off your reference shelf for something else…. I am taking Biblical Hebrew.
@bigtobacco1098 Hey big-toe-back-toe! No man is perfect. Maybe you missed the irony.. all men are imperfect. So what sense does it make to openly proclaim ordaining any _particular_ sinful person as a priest? Why single out this one thing, unless you're trying to draw attention to this thing? And then, why?
Thank you so much for these videos!

It amazes me how many newcomers to this series have a similar reaction. Paperback options would also help the series.
Love your channel. Thanks.
Thanks Jim

Thank you for the clarification.
Will you be covering 'Daily Doctrine' by DeYoung in your next video? Kind of curious about that one.
Yes, I will. I'm sorry I accidentally skipped it.
@BestBibleCommentaries No worries, will look forward to it.👍
I added this book to my daily devotions and am VERY impressed with it. Look forward to hearing your thoughts

Wait, so will they allow thieving men to become priests if they refrain from theft?
...so sinners are ok, as long as they dont _practice_ sin?
You're perfect ??
