Looks like you had a good time there. I paddled back to the mouth of the Moke in 2010 just to look around, and found it very beautiful and nicely isolated. The pond up on the rock ledge you describe as The Blue Hole is actually the "Salt Springs". Nice view back towards the dam from there. The Blue Hole is a sharp bend in the river with a deep pool, about a half mile up from the mouth. I fished the Blue Hole for about an hour there without so much as a bite, then up pops an otter with an "Oh, hello there", which explains the poor fishing. Looking forward to going back there soon with grand kids.
