As a former middle linebacker this game is almost nauseating to watch. If I was the Defensive Coordinator (of either team) I'd have my entire D running tackling drills the next day until they dropped from blood loss. Of course, if I was the DC of either team I probably wouldn't have a job the next day.

Of all the things when I imagine Bears scouts / mgmt / player personnel discussing when trying to figure out who they were going to pick in the draft, it's this detail that you mentioned that kills me almost more than anything else. Shows you that not only did Mahomes have gifted talent and developed skill, he was also tough as hell and a complete gamer. I knew about the broken wrist (non-throwing hand, obviously) but didn't know about the separated shoulder.

It's sad that Mahomes only had a 13-19 as a starter in college. But the thing Mahomes defense at Texas Tech was utter shit. The worst of the worst as you see right here. Mahomes put 59 points and STILL LOST. The defense gave up 66 points. Still in the end, Mahomes has 3 Super Bowl rings and actually has a defense that doesn't suck.

Most people see the total yardage and think Mahomes had the better game. Baker had twice as many yards/attempt as Mahomes, he just didn't throw the ball 100 times that game.
@@stephenmarquardt2390 To be fair, Mayfield had a backfield with Mixon in it, and he had an insane 377 total yards that day, 267 yards and two touchdowns plus 114 receiving yards and two more scores. Carried OU perhaps as much as Mayfield did. Mahomes did what he had to do to try to win, and that was throw for five TDs, run for 2TDs.

Girl was a suspected drug dealer and had been arrested multiples times before that hit. She was pretty much a party girl that liked to get drunk and high. She was also as big or bigger than him IIRC.
"Public info: "....according to Oklahoma court records, the girl has been arrested several times, broke probation and has a current Bench Warrant out for her arrest. She was arrested in April 2013 for possession of and possible intent to sell drugs and possession of a controlled drug class III and possession of a false ID. She plead no contest and the sentence was 1 year deferred with a substance abuse eval and community service. Her Judge in that case was Judge Tupper. Then in December 2013, she was arrested again on 1 count of possession of a controlled drug, 1 count of possession of drug paraphernalia, 1 count of transporting an open container of alcohol, 1 count of minor in possession of intoxicating beverage. Those charges are still pending. Her judge assigned is Judge Balkman and he noted in her file on Jan. 20, 2014 "Don't Issue Bench Warrant". I find that interesting. That warrant is still outstanding."
