    I really enjoy Mr Princes teachings and I'm thankful for them. That being said, Jesus tells us the two most important commandments in Matthew 22:36-40. First and greatest: To love the Lord thy God with all our heart, soul and mind. The second is like unto it: Love thy neighbor as thyself. Jesus spoke these words not man. Jesus. The Son of God.

    Really good, especially when the bible commands it. Calvinists don't except it, because they are deceived, 2 Thessalonians 2 v1-10

      The devil is the master at deceiving. Satan is crafty and made all religions that are anti-bible. All one can do is pray for the ones who are deceived.

    For the who has, more would be given. But the one who has not, even what he think he has, would be taken away.
    If you believe in God the Father and Christ Jesus, and agree to carry out his will, he will equip you with the Spiritual gift you will need for each task you are doing for the Lord...
    What I mean is this:
    Paul had all spiritual gifts, gift of languages, gift of prophecy, gift of discerning the spirits, gift if healing and miraculous powers, snake bite would not hurt him.
    And yet, he could not heal himself when he was sick - because it was not the will of God.
    He could not heal his friend by his ability to heal but left it to God to decide:
    Indeed he was ill, near to death. But God had mercy on him, and not only on him but on me also, lest I should have sorrow upon sorrow.
    Philippians 2:27
    Every true servant if Christ would be equipped with the gifts of the Holy Spirit for the glory of God and not fir personal gain... And the servant is able to discern when and how to exercise that gift, same as Paul did.
    He was bold like a lion and a fool for Christ! And if every Christian would immitate him for only 10%, and not afraid to be a fool for the Lord - you would be surprised how many more spiritual gifts you would be given!!!
    Grace and peace from Gid the Father and the Lord Jesus Christ be with you all, who are faithful in Christ.
    Amen.

      My King
      He is the King of the Jews
      He is the King of Israel
      But He’s also
      King of all the Ages;
      King of Heaven;
      King of Glory;
      King of Kings;
      …and Lord of Lords.
      He is
      a prophet before Moses;
      a priest after Melchizedek;
      a champion like Joshua;
      an offering in place of Isaac;
      a king from the line of David;
      a counselor above Solomon;
      beloved, rejected, and exalted
      like Joseph;
      and yet far more…
      The Heavens declare His glory…
      and the firmament shows
      His handiwork.
      He who is, who was, and who always will be;
      The first and the last
      He is the Alpha and Omega
      the Aleph and the Tau
      the A and the Z;
      He is the ego eimi,
      the
      the “I AM that I AM”
      The voice of the burning bush
      the Captain of the Lord’s Host
      the conqueror of Jericho
      He is our Kinsman-Redeemer
      and He is our Avenger of Blood;
      and He is our City of Refuge;
      He was crucified on a cross of wood;
      Yet He made the hill
      on which it stood.
      By Him were all things made
      that were made;
      without Him was not anything made
      that was made;
      By Him are all things held together!
      In Him dwells
      the fullness of the Godhead bodily;
      The very God of very God.
      He became
      the first fruits of them that slept.
      He is our Performing High Priest;
      Our Personal Prophet;
      Our Reigning King.
      He is enduringly strong;
      entirely sincere;
      eternally steadfast;
      He is imperially powerful;
      immortally graceful;
      impartially merciful;
      He stands alone in Himself:
      He’s unique,
      pre-eminent,
      supreme,
      unparalleled:
      He’s the Loftiest idea
      & in Literature;
      He’s the highest Personality
      in Philosophy;
      He’s the Fundamental Doctrine
      of Theology;
      He’s the Supreme Problem
      in “higher criticism”!
      He’s the Son of God!
      There is no means of measuring
      his limitless love:
      It was written in blood,
      on that wooden cross
      erected in Judea
      2,000 years ago.
      He was born of a woman
      so that we could be born of God;
      He humbled Himself
      so that we could be lifted up;
      He became a servant
      so that we could be made joint-heirs;
      He suffered rejection
      so that we could become His friends;
      He denied Himself
      so that we could freely receive all things;
      He gave Himself
      so that He could bless us in every way.
      He
      is Available to the tempted and the tried;
      Blesses the young;
      Cleanses the lepers;
      Defends the feeble;
      Delivers the captives;
      Discharges the debtors;
      Forgives the sinners;
      Franchises the meek;
      Guards the besieged;
      Heals the sick;
      Provides strength to the weak;
      Regards the aged;
      Rewards the diligent;
      Serves the unfortunate;
      Sympathizes and He saves!
      His Offices are many;
      His Reign is righteous;
      His Promises are certain;
      His Goodness is limitless;
      His Light is matchless;
      His Love never changes;
      His Grace is sufficient;
      His Mercy is everlasting;
      His Word is enough;
      His Yoke is easy and
      His Burden is light!
      He’s indescribable;
      He’s incomprehensible;
      He’s irresistable;
      He’s invinceable!
      The Heaven of heavens
      cannot contain Him;
      Man cannot explain Him
      The Pharisees couldn’t stand Him
      but soon learned
      that they couldn’t stop Him;
      They railroaded Him
      through 6 illegal trials,
      and yet
      The witnesses couldn’t agree against Him
      and the personal representative
      of the ruler of the world,
      couldn’t find any fault with Him;
      Herod couldn’t kill Him
      death couldn’t handle Him
      the grave couldn’t hold Him!
      He has always been and always will be;
      He had no predecessor and
      will have no successor;
      You can’t impeach Him and
      he isn’t going to resign!
      His name is above every name;
      That at the name of Yeshua
      Every knee shall bow
      Every tongue shall confess
      That Jesus Christ is Lord!
      His is the kingdom,
      and the power,
      and the glory…
      for ever, and ever.
      Hallelujah! …and Amen!

    When continuationists like Derek Prince, Piper, Grudem etc misuse the terminology of the new Testament gifts and then define them to mean something else, they depreciate the remarkable character of the real thing. They Diminish the glorious way the Holy Spirit worked in the Foundation of the church. If the gifts practiced in charismatic churches today are equivalent to the gifts described in the New Testament then those original gifts were nothing special and so the era was nothing special. Hijacking New Testament terminology and redefining biblical gifts essentially degrades what was genuinely miraculous in what God was doing in the first century. Reformed continuationism aids this misrepresentation.
    1 Cor 14:1 says 'Earnestly pursue love, earnestly desire now spiritual gifts, especially now that you might prophecy'. Why? And why especially now? Because the Corinthians have just been told the gifts won't last forever!
    The scriptures are clear that tongues and other miraculous gifts of the Holy Spirit will cease (1 Cor 13:8). All types of Pentecostal churches fail to see that this verse has nothing to do with end time eschatology, but is rather talking about moving towards maturity of knowledge. In the apastolic age Knowledge was given miraculously but piecemeal. Paul's discourse on knowledge alludes to the then current situation as being a child in terms of knowledge and ability to teach, but forsees a time when complete knowledge would be available enabling mature knowledge. And there's no point to such knowledge after you've died. Paul’s point was that looking into partial, piecemeal revelation was equivalent to looking into an imperfect mirror in that the viewer got only a partial picture of himself. However, after much of the New Testament had been recorded, the viewer could look into a perfect mirror, and thus have the capacity to see himself as God saw him. Thus, face to face refers to the believer’s capacity to see himself clearly through the vehicle of a perfect mirror or the completed canon.

      Unfortunately it is childish and a stumbling block to a closer walk with The Lord to interpret scripture in a way that denies that spiritual gifts are not for today. For they are needed more than ever.

    • @ChristisSaviour
      @ChristisSaviour 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@nickhybner8485 Not really. Jesus said (Matt 16:4) "A wicked and adulterous generation looks for a sign, but none will be given it except the sign of Jonah.” Jesus then left them and went away.
      As I said initially, If the gifts practiced in charismatic churches today are equivalent to the gifts described in the New Testament then those original gifts were nothing special and so the era was nothing special. This is how we know they are not the same and not from the same source. You think it should be just as it was in the first century church, but you can't tell me of a single church in the world that has Christians in it with such gifts given to them.
      I listened to a sermon from a local charismatic church the other day in which the speaker said that around 20 years ago he went to Florida (from the UK) because there was a movement of the spirit there and he "wanted it". I know a couple from that church who went to Toronto when that was going on. None of them teach sound doctrine and none of them have any miraculous gifting. And that really demonstrates the issue; the Holy Spirit distributes gifts as He wills (1 Cor 12:4), and if He still did so we would see undeniable, unfalsifiable miracles. Of greater worth is what He does in the life of truly born again Christians as they grow in the fruits of The Spirit (Gal 5:22-23).

    • @Hisslave1
      @Hisslave1 4 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Seeking God and coveting his gifts as desperately as you seek to disprove Him would serve you well. If we are not the New Testament Church and the Holy Spirit no longer does what scripture claims, then not only are your prayers in vain, but you have no chance to be saved. You are making a god to suit yourself Mr. Granger and that's extremely dangerous. I pray that you may be as the Emmaeus disciples.

    • @ChristisSaviour
      @ChristisSaviour 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@Hisslave1 Do you have scripture to prove I can't be saved unless I have miraculous gifting? Even Derek Prince teaches there is a two tier Christianity i.e. those saved but not yet having received Holy Spirit baptism. But of course that is more non-biblical teaching from him.
      Miraculous gifting is not needed for me to be able to pray in a way that is pleasing and acceptable to my Father. If you can point me to even one church anywhere in the world today that operates as a New Testament church endowed in the miraculous gifts of the Holy Spirit, it will support your position. I don't understand why those who hold the (self evident) discontinuation position can't be saved unless they believe what you believe.
      Heb 5:9 says "once made perfect, he became the source of eternal salvation for all who obey him". I think you have a different gospel.
      My wife had a tumour on the brain when she was 22. Her Church prayed and the doctors couldn't understand how it went because at the previous appointment she was told she will go blind if not operated on.
      I know of people in local charismatic churches who have died of cancer or other illnesses and those who survive always claim it is a miracle they were healed, yet all had medical treatment for their condition. So, I do believe in God's providential healing in this age, which of course non-believers benefit from too.
      I don't think there's any point continuing to argue with you, unless you can find fault in what I have said 2 Timothy 2:22-25.
