Glad the C41 turned out fine. There's always a little hope over experience with colour film and development, especially if its out of date. The joys .... 😒
Thanks Iain. i'm glad I had another go as I did suspect the Gold 100 was totally kyboshed. I bought it about 12 years ago, already out of date and it came from Greece, so I guess it has also been through a few Customs X-ray machines. I was a little downhearted but that's all behind me and I have a couple of new, old cameras to try out. Cheers, Keith
I'd say that roll came out pretty well actually. I use the Bellini C41kit, the wash at the end ,once done i just l hang em up and there's not a mark on em ..if however i squeegee them i get scratches and water marks.. Emulsion must be a bit more delicate than the usual BW ..
Thanks Mark. I agree that colour film seems to need a lot more careful handling than B&W. I am a novice with C-41 so I'm sure I will mget a decent handle on it as I progress. Cheers, Keith
For a point and shoot the shots weren't bad especially if shooting dx coded expired film, Keith. I must send off my two films I finished a while back. I hope you haven't binned the aps cameras - there is some interest in them despite a reducing amount of film in circulation.
Thanks Andrew. I won't bin the APS cameras but I will make an announcement about them in the next video. I don't know if they work as I haven't got batteries for them but the compartments look clean. I think I am going to be buying some fresh colour film as I want to see some decent quality results from my C-41 developing. Cheers, Keith
Thanks Jim.The Nikon was bought independently a couple of months ago for £13. I will be revealing the latest ones when I have the batteries. Cheers, Keith
Some really nice colours there, as you say, natural.
Thanks Andrew. I loved that film when we could get it for a pound. Cheers, Keith
