HOW THIS COMPARISON WORKS:
Depending on the color of the object, you can tell which version it belongs to.
If the object is:
RED - It belongs to the new version of the level.
BLUE - It belongs to the old version of the level.
WHITE - It is shared between both versions.
The player also portrays this behavior; if the player position is different in the replay of one version, it will show up as its designated color. Otherwise, it will be the usual white.
Duelo Maestro, a classic among the Geometry Dash community, has recently been updated by Nacho. The gameplay and decoration have been updated, though the level retains the original premise and most of its decoration is unchanged.

everything is shifted like half a block past a certain point in the level because speed portal placements were changed

*Context of the update:*
The level that Nacho planned was going to be much better than the version that came out, but in a hurry, he decided to release the version we all know, and having been popular, he decided to leave the unfinished version as the official one. Then, when he came back with his updates as Ultimo Universo, he decided to finally finish the level he left 7 years ago *:)*
Let's make it easy demon, because easier = better (GD community logic right now)
I see... that's why it felt unfinished when I'm playing the old ver. Didn't like the nerfs that he did, but I will absolutely take the better level design.

@@Magnetined without those extremes there is no content in gd, mostly people play gd to suffer from difficulty because exactly difficulty makes something legendary and process of playing at level interesting, if you want to see art then make levels that are based on it, change of scene, in Silico, Serpents wrath, auto levels or mini games, if it is not an art or something exclusive without difficulty then no one is interested to play at it because it is boring

The best part of this update imo is the fact that Nacho removed the “dedicated to AdvyStyles” from the level
it was removed a long time ago. Even in the previous version, it was long gone in his "Dedicado a" list.

I like this update. The increase in visibility makes it less learny, and the nerfs to the first cube means the second player doesnt have to wait forever while the first player dies on it five times in a row. The nerfs to the 2 player parts are nice too, because my second player's hardest is Clubstep.

We beat this yesterday :) and i can tell you the worst part of this new update is that you have to get the keys you cant just miss them by frames you have to get them

It’s definitely easier. But it’s still an insanely hard feat, especially if you’re beating it solo.

a big part of the update was making certain sections more visible by increasing the brightness, which wouldn't show up in this video since it only uses a layout

people say asymmetrical part is nerfed but no, you can't just hold on first ship part, first wave is much tighter,in ship and wave part wave is also tighter and harder on solo.

That would be hard because the e macros are pretty misaligned and same with the ground
I always mess up with concentration on which is old and which is new (possibly others do so too). Cyan is more visible, so why should it not show a new version?

You don’t have a peanut brain, this is just like the worst macro ever, like wtf is 2:30 and 1:03, also the way this level was redone is in a way where the LeTim format does not work well
It looks like more things have changed than what's actually changed because there wasn't a lined up bot that differs only at changed parts, plus speed portals were hit in different ways. Plus inputs differed a lot. This meant the comparison wasn't lined up correctly and the camera plus player positioning causes the changes to look like they're everywhere rather than only in certain parts

Apparently Nacho wasn’t happy and he wanted this level to be the best it could. This is also his most popular level and he didn’t want that representing him. Also he removed the “dedicated to AdvyStyles”

Nah the 2.0 version was sad. Nacho21 released a half-finished version of the level in a rush. That beta version then stayed as the official level for way too long as Nacho21 didn't really have the motive/time to finish the level. Nacho21 updated and finished the level.

I get the fact that Nacho was not satisfied, but why not just copy the level and update that? Now look at it. The text's been changed, some gameplay's been shifted by 4 GRID SPACES, and the name at the end is just a phrase now. He changed Duelo from what we know it to be. Now it's permanent. So we can no longer get back the old one unless someone uploads a copy of it to the servers. Why? “If it ain't broke, don't fix it!”

It was broke. Nacho21 literally rushed out the level before he actually finished it. He put out a beta version and then that ended up staying as the official version.
