Been waiting for a while! I thought you'd found a different job and left TH-cam! I got into reselling after watching your videos. Not a full time thing, but a side hustle. Made a fair amount in the last 3 months. My recommendation is if it takes a long time to test, it's not worth your time. Don't worry about making these videos polished or anything. I think most of us just enjoy hearing about the process.
I appreciate you watching and the support thank you! Yeah so it depends on the item and I do agree for low dollar stuff, but for example those mixers I was testing were $300, but if not I probably would have sold them as parts
i was just thinking it had been a while since i heard from this guy. i remember watching the very first video when he started selling. now i find myself in a similar situation. i can't find a job so i'm making my own job. i'm starting my own AI agency and I was wondering if I should also do a vlog like this. I was also wondering whether i should make my videos raw or take my time to edit them. anyways, good to hear you're still hustlin' my guy. now i'm part of the club too. let's keep up the good fight.
I was super excited seeing you dropped another video, this series has me hooked! Glad to see you had a great month, and wish you the best bro, keep killing it!
Awesome video as always! All that work to turn 3K profit in a month and now this year we eBay re-sellers are going to get hit by the IRS for all sales over $600 (used to be 20K). It sucks for us that do it for fun and a little extra money while also working our day jobs. Got all my receipts saved and mileage tracked (garage sales, estate sales, storage lockers, etc.) to write off hopefully a ton of what the IRS thinks I'm getting all that money off of eBay. It sucks for the go getters out there hustling to bring in extra income and then getting taxed on it on top of their yearly jobs we are already paying into the system. Looking forward to your next video!
Screw these people and their negative feedback. Most people know that the public is hard to please and always trying to scam people. A few negative reviews will not destroy your business
Avoid electronics. Too many problems with testing. You will destroy your feedback if you go heavy into them. Many switch to clothes for this reason, which mainly just has returns as a primary problem.
We had 100 percent positive till May of this year after 4 years of selling and now we have 7 negative feedbacks. All of them are BS and a couple of them were straight up extortion, but alas ebay didn't agree. The feedback revision department sucks now that they've changed things around.
I love your editing style. It perfectly conveys your crazy frenetic hustling lifestyle 😂 and delivers just the right amount of anxiety to the viewer. While watching your content, in order to cope, I do shots of whisky and am suffering hairloss at a healthy rate now😂. Thanks.
Nice to see you back! Enjoy the videos and how candid you are about selling and the realities that come with it (carrying inventory, handling returns, shipping/packaging, dealing with unscrupulous customers) it's not easy!
The moment they threaten negative feedback you WIN. Ebay considers that extortion. They can't do that, especially if they refuse to open a return. Feedback will be removed and you don't have to refund them anything.
@@Analog_money I still believe you have a valid case for seller protection, if the buyer is demanding a refund or replacement without returning the item that is against eBay policy & any negative feedback should be null & void. If they have followed through with their threat I would be onto customer support again, sometimes its as simply as the eBay person you get determines the outcome. Great vid.
Yeah it was crazy, first person said that quote, but then a second rep took over and said let’s look at it again, I said okay and then a third person took over and said “we already told you it’s not extortion” I was like you contacted me 😂😂. They don’t care as long as someone doesn’t do a chargeback, they don’t care. Another fun fact in upcoming videos: buyer not looking at photos, nor reading descriptions and admitting it qualifies as INAD, confirmed by eBay.
I thought you found a job and left us! Glad you back, man! I just found your channel last week and got hooked with your content! Please release more often! xD
Love your videos mate always a treat. I especially like how you go through and choose some of the least flattering thumbnails selfies you can find as well.
I remember seeing someone’s comment in one of your early videos saying it’s a good idea to keep a limit on your inventory, try to have a goal to sell a certain amount of it before buying more, so you don’t have too much laying around. But you argued with them lol. Glad to see you’re taking them up on their advice. Also glad you’re profiting!
Buying inventory is very addictive. It's the dopamine rush that keeps you going in between the stress of waiting for sales, rushing around meeting pple and shipping stuff. Crazy business for sure.
You can acquire much of your packing supplies for free. It's really easy to cut large boxes into small boxes, too. Also, I feel like the negative feedback extortion racket is on the rise for some reason. I've had it happen twice in the last 2 months. And some of them leave the negative feedback AND THEN send you extortion messages and offer to change it to positive if they get what they want. It's not easy out here but it isnt too bad either. Keep up the good work!
As far as the boxes, yes but it’s so much tougher to find the right size so it’s worth it for me. And yes, those people are ALLEGEDLY committing federal crimes (wire fraud, mail fraud, interference in interstate commerce; idk I’m not a Lawyer, I’m a moron.)
Love seeing your experiences and specially how you deal with the negative things. Makes me chuckle. I just sell Pokemon cards on eBay and TCGPlayer but I've seen my fair share of crazies. Keep it up!
Glad to see you uploaded another video. I was wondering the other day how you were doing and was about to reach out😂 You got some good items there! The networking stuff really brings good money when it sells. Invest in a thermal printer if you dont have one. They save tons on shipping costs. I will say I have issues with the labels getting damaged so I started doing a layer of tape over the barcode and made sure there is no bubbles on it so it scans no matter what happens to it. Edit: I see you have one. The same one I have as a matter of fact! 😂 If they threaten you with feedback, report them to ebay. They will remove any feedback and you can block them. I had one do that a couple weeks ago
Thanks for watching i appreciate it! I’ve never had that last problem yet but it’s interesting to know and something I’ll probably start looking out for

been following since your 4th month but I am totally caught up in the series. Im in nyc still working a full time doing ebay on the side, really enjoying these vids.
Stoked to see another update! If you're still having issues with traffic from YT messing with your e-bay listings maybe selling channel merch on there could offset it?
Oh okay cool thanks! Yeah I knew they were some kind of communication receivers/senders and I’ve been seeing them installed now that I’ve sold them but didn’t know their actual utility. Thanks again

When I would sell stuff on eBay, I would package everything before it sold. Its more work up front but as you sell stuff, you can just send it out and not worry about it.
Nah, I’ve thought about this but I get photos of everything (and video if it needs to work) the day it goes out for proof. Sucks but just helps to cut down on scams.
