@Ultimate Sora Knuckles also has no reason to try and replicate the feat since every other time they've been on the same side when Sonic goes Super. I'm SEMI willing to give you the Sonic Unleashed point. Otherwise Sonic can also lose the form if he runs out of ring energy. He CAN also get hurt if hit by a powerful enough attack like from Solaris, the Egg Salamander, and Perfect Dark Gaia. While not fully hurt Final Hazard and I think Perfect Chaos are also able to cause discomfort even to Super Sonic. Also the Phantom Ruby is also able to bypass Super Sonic's invincibility.
@Ultimate Sora Sonic Mania. Also could take account it's a take off guard type of thing as both Sonic and Metal Sonic were taken off guard by Knuckles' both sudden appearance and the uppercut. On the rings part while it IS a game mechanic it seems to also be canon to a degree. If I remember right in SA2 and 06 the Hedgehogs switch out just to collect more rings.

All I can do is speculate or make a theory based on what I have seen or know. All in all it's speculative, you could jot things down to being game mechanic or actual fact, same deal with Mario when it comes down to it. It also depends on the developers and creators of the series or in fanon case the writer, whatever they say goes even if it's wrong. Also, ahh I was remembering wrong I was thinking of when Knuckles punched Metal off of the Master Emerald. Woops. @Ultimate Sora I can get that, I've seen both the good and bad sides of both Fandoms. I'd be lying if I didn't say I wasn't 'salty' with the blue blur. So many sprite animations have Sonic win or Mario lose in general it just.. gets really tiring seeing the character you love be beaten over and over or straight up killed. And annoying when they DO win the fight but for not actual good reasons. Even so I still like Sonic and don't necessarily wish to see him banged up either. I think the issue when it comes with battles involving him is there is so much mixed information and different versions it can be hard to tell what is fact, fake, or should be disregarded. Same technically can be said for Mario given most of what we get comes from gameplay.

Yeah. As well as that, Sonic should have been more of a challenge, Sonic is super fast and can dodge absolutely anything. And don't even get me started on super Sonic. Honestly, Sonic could just dash away, get a rope from somewhere, dash back and boost around Mario while putting the rope around Mario. It's not expected that people would be angry about their favorite character being defeated and then criticize the content creator for something that is the least of their problems. And you know, many don't know, but Mario, in terms of fights and comparisons with other characters, is not to be underestimated, he really is one of the most powerful characters in games, At the same time, the most underrated.

Okay, Imma settle this. Mario is clearly stronger than Sonic. He's effortlessly lifted and punted Larry's castle which weighed over 61 million tons. In order to kick something like that as far as he did, Mario needs to exert an energy output equal to about 3.4 megatons of TNT. Meanwhile, Sonic clocks in at 200 kilotons of TNT, for destroying the huge stalactite in the Sonic the Hedgehog movie (1996). Even then, it was a shared feat with Metal Sonic, a robot built to be better than Sonic in every physical way. So his peak is likely far less. Of course, Sonic did survive the Death Egg exploding, but Mario is used to fighting characters way tougher than that, like Wario, who survived the Shake King detonating, and Donkey Kong who punched the moon out of orbit and down to Earth. Mario is no pushover. "But Sonic is faster, right?" Obviously, in a footrace, it'd be no contest, but we're looking at an actual battle. Maybe with certain items, but not on his own. Sonic has claimed that a cyan laser wisp is faster, but it doesn't really behave much like an actual laser. Of course, Sonic does have the light speed dash, however, he can't really control it, and can only be used in short bursts. Can't Sonic reach speeds equal to 3,500 spd? Sure, but given the game's japanese development, it would only mean that Sonic can reach speeds over Mach 10, which is far from Sonic's peak. Then of course, there's Sonic running through time. Sonic was running through a time post, and interacting with a space-time void created by the Time Eater. Sonic has never shown that he can run through time on his own. Even if we assume that Sonic is faster than light in base form based on unofficial or circumstantial evidence, the same thing should apply to Mario. This would grant him several MFTL reaction feats, like flying across galaxies in seconds. Outliers aside, Mario also has a far greater arsenal than Sonic. Of course, Sonic could counter some of them. Like his aqua shield could guard against F.L.U.D.D, and his fire shield could guard against Mario's many fire based attacks. Even Cappy wasn't really a reliable option as Sonic has resisted mind control from the Overmind and Dark Gaia. But nonetheless, Mario has a ton of different ways to overwhelm Sonic. He could freeze him, turn him into gold, stop time, duplicate himself, increase size, turn invisible, and even reset the fight and try again. Of course, there's still Super Sonic and Hyper Sonic he still has to worry about. Even then, Mario has his Super Star and Rainbow Star to counter it. Not to mention, Mario's bottomless gloves ability gave him access to unlimited power-ups. This meant that Sonic couldn't really take him out before all of his own options ran out.

What culex actually said is “I am matter... I am antimatter... I can see your past... I can see your future... I consume time... And I will consume you!”. Culex is the textbook definition of featless. Compared to Culex trying to hype himself up as a big threat before losing without doing anything impressive. Eggman is being dead serious and stating facts about the threat of Solaris further confirmed by other characters like Tails and official sources. Second Point And you retort by ignoring everything I said. Since you don't have an actual defence. You continue to miss the point. Eggman is an unbiased party who has no reason to exaggerate or lie. He is clearly using his knowledge to explain the threat of Solaris to everyone. Which is further confirmed by other scientists and official sources. Culex is talking about himself. He has every reason to exaggerate his powers and he doesn't actually do anything to prove that he is capable of what he claims to be. And no, that does not prove that Culex's statements are true. Turning yourself from 2D to 3D does not mean you are omnipotent or can consume time as Culex claims. If anything the fact that Culex continues to do nothing impressive and doesn't actually affect the timeline like he claims he can. He just chooses to stay inside a cave then use weak elemental attacks like boulders when he gets a chance to fight, this only further proves my point. Dubunking Galaxy Reactor Bowser's so called galaxy reactor is really just a small star surrounded by a bunch of building sized planets. That's not a galaxy. And its pretty much featless. Bowser only claims that he can rule the galaxy with it. Bowser's claims have always been proven wrong. If the "Galaxy Reactor" can be damaged that easily then it clearly isn't all that durable. Even if it was believable that the Galaxy Reactor had an accurate name. The Death Star in Star Wars was blown up by a single laser. Mario damaging a supposed "galaxy reactor" does not make him galaxy level like you are trying to claim. Debunking Paper Mario For example Dimentio. Despite what Mario Fans try to claim. Count Bleck was the one who used the Pure Hearts to save Mario from Dimentio. That is not a feat for Mario. That is a feat for Count Bleck. Even then the Pure Hearts are essentially the Mario Version of Kryptonite for users of the Chaos Hearts. That doesn't necessarily mean Count Bleck is on the same level of power as Dimentio. By that logic Batman is as strong as Superman since he can use kryptonite to weaken Superman to the point Superman can be beaten. Its specifically stated and shown that its Count Bleck & Tippi who use the power of their love to empower the Pure Hearts, take away Mr. L | Dimentio's invincibility & give the team of heroes a chance to win in the Final Boss Battle of Super Paper Mario. Yeah. As well as that, Sonic should have been more of a challenge, Sonic is super fast and can dodge absolutely anything. And don't even get me started on super Sonic. Honestly, Sonic could just dash away, get a rope from somewhere, dash back and boost around Mario while putting the rope around Mario. Mario would have to us the mega mushroom and then Sonic would turn super for safe measure and dash right through Mario's chest, defeating mario.

And you know, many don't know, but Mario, in terms of fights and comparisons with other characters, is not to be underestimated, he really is one of the most powerful characters in games, At the same time, the most underrated.

Mario is clearly stronger than Sonic. He's effortlessly lifted and punted Larry's castle which weighed over 61 million tons. In order to kick something like that as far as he did, Mario needs to exert an energy output equal to about 3.4 megatons of TNT. Meanwhile, Sonic clocks in at 200 kilotons of TNT, for destroying the huge stalactite in the Sonic the Hedgehog movie (1996). Even then, it was a shared feat with Metal Sonic, a robot built to be better than Sonic in every physical way. So his peak is likely far less. Of course, Sonic does have the light speed dash, however, he can't really control it, and can only be used in short bursts. Can't Sonic reach speeds equal to 3,500 spd? Sure, but given the game's japanese development, it would only mean that Sonic can reach speeds over Mach 10, which is far from Sonic's peak. Then of course, there's Sonic running through time. Sonic was running through a time post, and interacting with a space-time void created by the Time Eater. Sonic has never shown that he can run through time on his own. Even if we assume that Sonic is faster than light in base form based on unofficial or circumstantial evidence, the same thing should apply to Mario. This would grant him several MFTL reaction feats, like flying across galaxies in seconds. Outliers aside, Mario also has a far greater arsenal than Sonic. Of course, Sonic could counter some of them. Like his aqua shield could guard against F.L.U.D.D, and his fire shield could guard against Mario's many fire based attacks. Even Cappy wasn't really a reliable option as Sonic has resisted mind control from the Overmind and Dark Gaia. But nonetheless, Mario has a ton of different ways to overwhelm Sonic. He could freeze him, turn him into gold, stop time, duplicate himself, increase size, turn invisible, and even reset the fight and try again. Of course, there's still Super Sonic and Hyper Sonic he still has to worry about. Even then, Mario has his Super Star and Rainbow Star to counter it. Not to mention, Mario's bottomless gloves ability gave him access to unlimited power-ups. This meant that Sonic couldn't really take him out before all of his own options ran out.

Culex is a featless optional boss who made a bunch of dialogue about how he would rule the world. He didn't actually do anything. Villains make similar statements all the time e.g. Burter claims he is the fastest in the universe

Culex just makes a bunch of empty statements and there is no proof that Culex can actually back up any of his statements. On that note, you are blatantly just making up a random fan theory.

Culex is the textbook definition of featless. Compared to Culex trying to hype himself up as a big threat before losing without doing anything impressive. Bowser's so called galaxy reactor is really just a small star surrounded by a bunch of building sized planets. That's not a galaxy. And its pretty much featless. Bowser only claims that he can rule the galaxy with it. Bowser's claims have always been proven wrong.
If the "Galaxy Reactor" can be damaged that easily then it clearly isn't all that durable. Even if it was believable that the Galaxy Reactor had an accurate name. The Death Star in Star Wars was blown up by a single laser. Mario damaging a supposed "galaxy reactor" does not make him galaxy level like you are trying to claim.
Debunking Paper Mario
For example Dimentio. Despite what Mario Fans try to claim. Count Bleck was the one who used the Pure Hearts to save Mario from Dimentio. That is not a feat for Mario. That is a feat for Count Bleck.
Even then the Pure Hearts are essentially the Mario Version of Kryptonite for users of the Chaos Hearts. That doesn't necessarily mean Count Bleck is on the same level of power as Dimentio. By that logic Batman is as strong as Superman since he can use kryptonite to weaken Superman to the point Superman can be beaten.

Dreamy Bowser is not a multiversal. The Dream Stone supposedly grants wishes. But the only actual power it showed is giving Bowser a temporary power boost and putting people to sleep. That's it. Dreamy Bowser is just Bowser with a small power boost. Dreamy Bowser's only new ability is to summon weak minions. None of the Mario Characters are multiversal.
One Paper Mario is the universe inside of a book. An entire different universe from the Regular Mario Universe. Two It isn't actually said anywhere in the Mario Games that Dreams are the size of universes. That is just an assumption that Mario Fanboys made based on their own fan theories. Unless you can actually show where that is explicitly stated then you should keep your mouth shut.
