Man, obviously Mario won this fight, but it seemed like toward the end whenever Sonic got his speed boost, he had the upper-hand against Mario and it really seemed like he was going to win. It could’ve been possible that if Mario didn’t use that final smash that Sonic would’ve won. So, imo
