This is a great idea for a series. Awesome thanks. I think some loctite on that screw your adding would affix that screw for life. With loctite you never have to worry about losing the specific clamp load you are trying to achieve. Loctite 232
I’m slow to transforming my figures I just bought. I just got Warpath yesterday and I haven’t done anything with it yet and I’m glad I just saw this. 👍🏿
My right knee was tight, just like Skullfaces one. My right arm bicep swivel outward causes the mushroom peg want to come out. There was a small piece of sprue on the left shoulder area, took that apart to get rid of it,and ended up breaking a hidden peg in the shoulder when trying to put it together. I dont like the shoulder design, but that's just me .I have qc 30. Ugh. I still like the figure though.
Recently bought a Sheridan myself, qc 30 too and the exact same problem on the right arm, but already fixed, while the right knee is too loose but it will need a minor fix. FT gave me good vibe, but after Sheridan I will wait a lot more before buy another TF from them.
@@sebastianomorello8142 That's a good idea. They are starting to slip. Hopefully they start doing a better job soon. Their stuff is too expensive to be screwed up,in my opinion.
I got my Sheridan on EBay. So I don’t have a retailer. Any idea where I can source that screw? It’s VERY specific- I’m unlikely to find it at a hardware store or even Grainger or McMaster-Carr. I’d gladly pay fee for the darned thing. Right now my very expensive figure is junk. Sheridan is my first 3rd party purchase. So far I’m underwhelmed. If it’s an average piece, I have to wonder why people seem to like 3rd party so much. Sure he looks nice, but he breaks when you look at him cross-eyed and the transformation is a pain.
@@Paik4Life thanks a lot for the tip about Toy Dojo. I gave them a call and told them you sent me. They were able to get me a replacement for just the cost of shipping or free with an order. I ordered a KFC Junkion and both items should be on the way. Huge appreciation for your help.
Yeah Fanstoys definetly "screw" us this time! Joking apart, it's a shame that such a nice figure got all those QC problems! A little survey I'm doing: my damaged Sheridan got the little QC sticker with the number 21 and no "pass" on it. what number have you received on yours? It was under 30? Do it have the word "pass" on it? Thanks in advance!
Paola Strange that’s interesting, mine has the same qc 21 with pass too. Transformed him from robot to tank and back. Haven’t noticed any issues. What damage did your Sheridan receive?
@@CyborgNS6NL Sorry I explain myself badly, mine didn't have the word "pass" on it, but the number, like yours, is 21. The damage is the left leg that came off as I took the figure from the box. Thanks for your answer!
by the way, I fixed it using the screw behind the silver "track tank" on the same leg, plus another screw of the same thickness (that is not necessarily flat like the one you need to fix the leg).
Paola Strange I’m sorry as well, I meant to say it doesn’t have the word pass on it. Just QC 21. Out the box mine was solid, no issues so far. I’m glad you were able to channel the WheelJack in you and repair him🦾
Thats what i did. I dont mind not transforming because outside of my FT dinobots all my figs are displayed in bot mode. I did the same thing with the most recent version of mp Megatron so it's not a first for me. IMO the figure is still worth it. The paint job is one of the best of my collection. So far only fig that beats it is FT Willis.
All you guys saying this is like takara, did you ever get a replacement part from takara? Because I didn't. But I've got replacement parts from fans toys. Pak, why didn't you use a smaller screw driver to screw the knee in straight? your screwdriver actually looks like it comes apart. Might be hard to film though.
Brad Battley I did screw it straight if you use my tip. You can screw it straight unless you have a screwdriver that can fit within the calf itself (only a few cm long) since there’s no room to go straight because of the bottom of the foot obviously. That’s why you start at an angle to make sure it goes it straight then finish it.
@@Paik4Life but your screw driver looks like one that can swap the head. If you used just the head piece, it looked like you could've kept the driver in line with the screw, which seems less stressful to me than how you did it, which was a bit diagonal, regardless of how straight the screw ended. I do appreciate the tips and the video though, just voicing my thoughts :)
@@bradbattley1509 If you look at your leg, you will see that it's not possible unless you have a tiny screw. You could try with maybe just the head, but you need to apply a lot of firm pressure; you can seem me putting a lot of effort. You can't get that with just the tip. If you've tried it and have a better way, feel free, but what you're suggesting now, isn't possible.
I guess fanstoys is now the takara Tomy of third party. I might just say fk it to their mirage, jazz, etc figures I don't need. Might get transform element instead and stick with mt downbeat.
I bought this figure brand new and it came with a leg detached. do not get this figure. I called fans toys and they said they don't accept returns if you are not living in china. I am gonna boycott fanstoys until they change their return policy.

What i was thinking as well 👍
Thank you Paik! for this upload. Definitely extremely helpful. ♥️
Warpath the M551 Sheridan tank has come in for maintenance. Shall we check on Warpath?
Whew! That's close. I almost bought this.
I can confirm FT fixed the left leg issue on later versions of Sheridan. Mine has the screw instead of the rivet.

You need to either go through the retailer you bought from or directly through Fans Toys.
@@Paik4Life How do I go directly to fan toys

Is that screw like PC screw? You know, for screwing your MB to the case, or to hold the graphics card in place?
Smaller than those.
