I see paint-chipping already, which isn't impressive... I'm probably going to get it anyway because it's Jazz and nobody has nailed him yet... but the engineering doesn't need to be this complicated, the paint really needs to be protected better on FansToys figures because it chips too easily, and I'd really like to see a toy deco of this figure because the cartoon designs are all so bland.
I have the Maketoys version and love it but was always annoyed by how the real bumper didn't form right. I haven't bought a FansToys figure since Perceptor but Jazz is a Must Have!!!
Not a FTs Fanboy here, but I have to give Credit where its earned...very well done and the nods to the OG G1 toy are a nice touch. Will buy this release but passed on last 5 releases.
I thought the same. People in the livecl chat were complaining about "another complicated transformation" but it is actually very close to what you typically see in the g1 animation. I was impressed that they even squeezed faux rims into the legs to keep the accuracy. Looks good. Very good
I got mine recently transferred for it a couple of time no paint issues like booby had idk what they hell he did but I think the tolerances are definitely tight but as long a you get the legs correct when transforming to vehicle mode, you’re good
This is my all time favorite figure. I love transforming the figures. So long as there's enough clearance to not damage the parts, I don't mind the complexity at all. The results are totally worth it.
Just got this figure the day and looks great in both modes, though my issue with it so far is trying to convert it back to robot mode from vehicle mode with the root to rear windscreen tabs are an absolute nightmare to separate.

Am I the only one that gets a really good feeling inside when I hear all that plastic squeaking? Some people love that really satisfying ker-thunk sound that you get when two pieces of plastic mate together successfully, but I'm all about that squeaky plastic
Vehicle mode looks fantastic but I hate this faux leg transformation everyone is randomly do to Jazz. And here I thought Make toys faux legs parts were bad but this is even worse. 😑
Looks very cool! Can't wait to get him! The only thing that I wished that he came with was spoke bicycle hubcaps and tinted windows instead of deep blue. That's my only gripe. Will you ever reuse this mold to make a Stepper/ricochet?
If you want a prefect G1 Jazz you need such a complicated transformation! How do I avoid to scratch the paint during the transformation? Is there some type of coat to apply?
I have two Fans Toys figure and both are complicated to transform. However, I haven't had any trouble with paint chipping and I expect this to be the same.

They had the pre-order up for the toy deco version not too long ago, did you manage to get that? I paid a lot for it but, I've always love the toy deco as he looks like a race car with all the sponsorships.

the only thing i dont like about this transformation is all the little bits i have to fold in cause they as they are so forgettable

It's a shame it has to be 3x more complicated than MakeToys to end up looking only slightly better. I like the arm transformation though.
Now that i have it in hand, the quality feels as good as expected but transforming it hurt my hands 😣

This is the best looking G1 Jazz!!!! However that transformation looks very involved. Still I can’t wait to get mine!!!!

Over $200, takes 40 minutes to transform and it's another mp where the chest just happens to fall apart when you move the arms.
Beautiful. Cant wait for this one, Parkour and their Recorder. Im glad they changed Recorder's chest back to yellow.
The quick demo is a great way to show that even tho the transformation is somewhat complex, it's still simple. Another great looking figure and video!

Level of difficulty, hog wash. Both alt and bot modes are worth it.
