Today I bought this. I have problem with that CANbus. My model has Android 10.0 with a little bit diferent menu. My menu is misssing choise: Car Infotainment. The conection with car computer dosn't exist.

This definitely worth and it's way better looking than that cheap basic radio and i would go for better version with 4Gb ram of this Android device. But i wouldn't change anything in my car if there is at least Bolero radio installed.
The best option for an Android device is one with an octa core processor and 4 GB of RAM.

Cu 2gb ram am avut pe un Duster din 2011. Se mișca cam greuț, pe Octavia parcă m-aș arunca la ceva cu 4gb ram. Fac diferența totuși,e aproximativ ca pe telefoane, atâta doar că la procesoare navigațiile auto nu stau așa de bine. Voi testa și eu una curând pe noua Octavia, navigația columbus de fabrică e cam depășită acum, și venind de la o mașină pe care am avut navigație android clar urmează trecerea 😁
Salut! Este adevarat, versiunea de 4Gb RAM cu procesor Octa Core sau Hexa Core (PX6) sunt cam cele mai bu e optiuni. Varianta de 2Gb RAM este un compromis intre pret si performanta.

This head unit made my cluster German after two weeks and I have no way to change it back without putting the old head unit back in the head unit is in English but not my cluster and the settings to change are locked into the old head unit
Buna, ai cunostinta de ceva unitati de genul asta care sa fie compatibile cu sistemul de sunet Canton? Din cate vad aceasta unitate este chiar plug and play. Ma interseaza sa montez o unitate similara care sa fie compatibila cu sistemele de sunet Canton.

Vazusem si acel clip insa asta presupune ca raman cu displayul original al masinii care in cazul meu este de doar 6 inch, neavand navigatie din fabrica. Ideea mea era sa instalez o unitate android DIN care imi oferea un ecran mai mare si navigatie incorporata, pastrand totodata sunetul original al masinii. Ce optiuni crezi ca as avea, tinand cont de datele problemei?

Hello. As long as the Android device is connected, the unit in the glove box will no longer work. If you remove the Android drive and reconnect the CD drive from the glove box it will work.

Hello. I no longer have that car with Android navigation, but I can tell you my conclusion: navigations with quad-core processors and 1 or 2Gb RAM memory are not the best. I have the best experience with Android navigations with Octa-core processors and at least 4Gb ram memory. What specs does your Android multimedia have?
8 core 3 gb ram, but the internal microphone is just crap, option to get external cost about 15€ extra. The car menu is just to difficult to navigate in, they show all option that is possible but not just the ones the car has. Fx it shows sun roof when the car does not have sun roof

Salut. As face un tutorial dar momentan nu mai am masina Skoda Octavia. Dar daca faci o deplasare la Tulcea pot sa-ti montez camera gratis si sa-mi permiti sa filmez tutorialul pe masina ta. Oricum, este de preferat sa montezi camera intr-o zi calduroasa deoarece atunci cand este frig plasticele sunt rigide si se pot crapa mult mai usor. Sunt ceva plaatice de desfacut pentru a instala camera.

You need to set the Canbus protocol correctly in the Android menu, the application will probably be activated as well. See in my video at 15:20

Salut! Am comandat pt octavia 3/2014 din Polonia varianta 2Gb/32Gb si am ceva probleme... Nu e ca cea din clip ca meniu, usb-ul masinii nu merge, setarile masinii gen presiune pneuri nu functioneaza(le afiseaza dar nu merg setate), pe displayul din bord nu mai arata nimic(consum, range, etc), cere mereu conectare cu telefon. Mai trebuie sa cumpar sau sa setez ceva? Am luat exact navigatia din descriere... In rest se misca f bine, se aude f bine, si se vede neasteptat de bine.
Salut! Incearca sa te mai joci cu setarile pentru canbus, alege diverse modele din grupul VAG cu aceeasi platforma ca a masinii tale (Golf 6, Golf 7). La capitolul Bluetooth acesta nu va mai functiona deoarece modulul se gaseste in unitatea ce acum este deconectata. Fie conectezi unitatea originala si stergi toate telefonele cu care a fost imperecheata si atunci probabil nu va mai cauta un telefon, fie te obisnuiesti cu acel mesaj :D. Daca nu rezolvi problema cu meniurile intreba-l pe vanzator poate stie vreo solutie, setare...
@@Adrian_AFD Am pus iar navi originala, am sters toate conectarile, apoi din nou navi android si am conectat-o cu tel acum aratandu-mi in bord tot ce trebuie (range, temperatura ulei, etc). Apoi am trecut prin toate setarile canbus si doua se potrivesc cu masina, iar una ma lasa sa umblu doar la asr on/off... tot e un pas. Acum chiar incepe sa-mi placa😉! Multumesc frumos pt raspuns!

@@Adrian_AFD Am montat sistemul pe Skoda. Totul este ok cu exceptia faptului ca nu mai functioneaza usb-urile de pe masina: am verificat de mai multe ori conexiunile si sunt bune. Nu stiu care este problema. Probabil de acceea nu functioneaza si CarPlay-ul. Probabil voi comanda un microfon ptr ca cel de pe sistem este slab. Overall este bun.
@@albin73 Salut. Este posibil sa fie o incompatibilitate a acelui adaptor, ce-i drept eu nu folosesc USB-ul si nici nu am montat adaptorul :)
Salutare. Senzorii de parcare de pe fata se activeaza ca inainte, atunci cand te apropii de ceva, sau doar cand masina e in marsarier?
Salut. Senzorii de parcare functioneaza la fel ca inainte inclusiv cei din fata, spate sau laterali (daca masina are). Deci, daca sunt pe modulul android si ma apropii de ceva cu fata acestia se activeaza automat si sunt afisati pe ecran la fel ca inainte, cand pericolul dispare comuta din nou pe modul Android.

Salut. Daca ai unitate în torpedou trebuie sa deconectezi mufa principala de la ea și sa o conectezi la unitatea Android, unitatea din torpedou va deveni inactiva.
Ai mai avut nevoie de alte cabluri suplimentare fata de ce a fost în pachet?

Și am 2 întrebări cu care am nevoie de ajutor. 1 care poate tasta dacă aleg să se potrivească mașinii mele Pentru că nu mi-am putut găsi karul pe listă, este doar vw 2 de ce nu pornește și se oprește automat cu mașina. Remove the glove box, remove the unit from the glove box, unclip the cables and push it to where the Android unit will be installed.

You no longer need the LVDS cable because you no longer use the original screen.

Buna seara. Ma puteti ajuta va rog cu o mica problema. Tocmai ce am achizitionat un Junsun V1 Pro (6GB, 128GB) pentru Octavia 3 si cand sunt conectat pe bluetooth nu ramane conectat si wi-fi. Dupa 5-10 secunde se deconecteaza singur wi-fi. Nu pot sa stau conectat pe ambele (wi-fi + bluetooth). Exista vreo setare care trebuie facuta? Sau exista vreo solutie? Multumesc.
Salutare. Daca unitatea are Android Auto / Carplay Wireless cel mai probabil aplicatia vrea sa se conecteze la telefon si transforma conexiunea wireless obisnuita in hotspot. Dezactiveaza aplicatia de conectare la Android auto / Carplay. O alta potiune ar fi sa folosesti un sim de date pentru internet (daca are unitatea slot pentru asa ceva), eu am luat un sim de la Digi cu 2 euro / luna.
Salut. Producatorul mi-a recomandat sa fac update de firmware, mi-a trimis si link-ul de descarcare, dar cand conectez stick-ul in oricare dintre USB-uri nu incepe automat update-ul, Exista o alta solutie sa fac manual update? Daca intru la MCU update este acelasi lucru? Multumesc.
Salutare din nou. Ai avut perfecta dreptate. Aplicatia era setata sa se conecteze automat. Am debifat optiunea de a se conecta automat si acum totul functioneaza perfect. Multumesc frumos pentru ajutor.

Hello. The camera connects to the dedicated RCA cable for Rear View Camera IN, see in my video at minute 3:01 . I hope to make a tutorial in the spring / summer on how to install the rear view camera.
FM Radio reception is weaker than the original radio, but I listen the online radio through the Tune IN application, so I'm not very interested in FM Radio.

Salutare. Aceste tablete cu Android nu au iesire optica pentru sunet. Practic amplificatorul Canton primeste semnal de sunet din unitatea multimedia originala prin fibra optica. Din ce stiu ar exista niste adaptoare dar nu stiu sa-ti spun ce model.
