I went to Home Depot and picked up a 4’x8’ sheet of 1/2” MDF and then covered it with felt from Hobby Lobby and stapled it to the MDF with a battery powered stapler - MUCH easier than manually operated staplers and makes a better fit & finish with the MDF. It makes gaming these larger campaigns a breeze. When not needed, I prop it against the wall with the 4x8 sheet of plexi.
Nice, I wonder if I'll be able to fit all 4 maps on my 2m x 1.2m table (6.5'x4'). I prefer to have just one tray for the markers, and then baggies for the unit counters. A bit slower to set up than you, but that's OK. When I store the game, I just put the markers in some more baggies, and use the tray for the next game I play. That way I only had to buy one tray. Inflation is crazy these days.
I've been up at a cottage for several months and am only getting back to Ottawa in a couple of weeks or so. I still have some videos that I want to do, so I will be back.
So those two campaigns you called out “wilderness” and “.Richmond” are those counters only used in those 2 scenarios? If not isnt it a challenge to find those counters for the other battles?
Not sure what you mean here. The game contains 3 Complete Campaigns and tons of scenarios. "McClellan's Seven Days Battles Campaign", "Grant's 1864 overland Campaign" and a final 'Siege of Petersburg Campaign'. All three games have their own counters and rules books. It's actually 3 different games in one box, that is why it is expensive.
This map is beautiful and detailed, I could never do something like this even with using the computer illustrator tool.
Glad you posted this Gilbert, I especially enjoyed the viewing.
Thanx, I’m waiting for my preorder to be shipped to Australia. I’ll use your counter storage method mate.
Oh great, gilbert just made me want to buy a another game..looks great keep up the good work
Wonderful video, thank you.

Sounds like a plan!

I can't wait for my game to arrive - it may take a while for it to cross the pond...
you are way ahead of me on this thank you for the information
Where did you buy the counter trays from and who makes them?
Is all OK. No uploads for 3 months?
