  • Race, and mostly the dominance of Caucasian culture in is one of the most complicated subjects in American life. By 2050, more than half of the US will be of mixed ethnicity. In order for media to remain relevant to its audience, roles in films need to reflect our evolving cultural makeup.
    Academy Award winner of the 2012 Best Feature Documentary film UNDEFEATED, TJ Martin has spent his life immersed in film. His Oscar win made him the first director of African American descent to receive an Academy Award for a feature length film, but his cultural heritage is more complex than a single racial identifier can encompass.

    I'm tj,s brother on his dad's side. I was suprised to find this video seems like a cool guy. Not sure if he knows about me. But congrats on all the cool accomplishments tj.
