Don't sell yourself short. You are a guitarist. I've played advanced for over 40 years and you are a good guitar player. You make me want to learn those songs after listening to you. Thanks for this video. I've been looking for a pick that can do upstrokes for a long time!
The exact control at the tip of the forefinger has more accuracy than holding a flat pick, and hence the speed n confidence. Thanks this is the exact thing I'd been looking for.
Hey there... this is Rockingman from London...nice style. There's Atkins, Travis and Cathead style. Take it Easy Cathead you're doing just great, love ya style!
Hey, Cathead, good to see you. Thanks for the review/demo and the great playing (no guitarist, my foot). I remember you from Songramp- was always a fan. (Grew up just down the road from you in Bluefield, btw.) Again, thanks for the good info.
Btw .. i was wondering if those picks would work if you turned them around... you answered that question... I cant really use a banjo finger pick because being a bare finger picker when I'm finger picking the angle of mynfingers just don't fit a curved bango pick .. and everyone who showed those on TH-cam was using them so they'd catch the inside of the fingernail... like classical pickers do.. thanks for sharing
Thank you for the video. I have the same problem with finger picking. I need a pick that can go back and forth. Tried without picks but it tears my nails up. Going to order a couple of the ultimate picks. I really like your style.
@@cathead77 i think i wasn't clear in my reference... it wasn;t your playing, but had to do with your comment that the pick had "100,000 miles on it..." Then you showed the pick and yeah, it "looked like it could use a timing belt." :)
These picks are called the "Ultimate Finger Picks." There website is ultimatefingerpick.com/ They are $14.00 per pick but they are worth it. They are absolutely the best. But they only come in medium and large.
You did play well. btw: For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life
