I must respectfully disagree with you here... This was the most painful chess experience to ever be posted! Not ONE of these kids will EVER achieve Patzer! They literally threw out every single possible wrong move every time even against being led by a bullring in the nose. I've gotta remember to pass on this guy's vids... They are always painstakingly like having having teeth pulled out one after another without anesthetic and this was the worst yet! It's an unfortunate fact that if these kids don't grasp these basics BEFORE ever approaching a chess coach they have little chance of breaking 1500 elo. And these lessons appear to be for 500 elo and below. Epic failure! My condolences...
what a wonderful example of a great teacher. i love the way he interacts with the kids. He is kind but explains errors in a straight forward and clear way. i just started playing ches. if ind the one class on openings and tactics terrific.
u are really doing good job many people are learning many things because of u your style of teaching is different than others i respect u a lot and keep your good work going
He’s indeed a good teacher, the way he explains definitely u will learn something. Thanks sir for sharing ur Ideas, You really inspired me to do my own tutorial. Deserve to subscribe 👍
Thanks for loading those videos up... those have been a great resource for me! I especially like how GM Akobian prefers his adjectives to be "excellent" and "brilliant" :D
+emmayy67 problem is that black can just reject taking back whites queen if white decides to take the bishop. So black technically declines the queen sacrifice and loses a piece, but by doing that escapes a otherwise forced mating sequence. It is better to go with the combination shown in the video as it is forced

isn't there a possible 2- or 3-way check in min 26:00? Pawn:F4 (forcing the bishop to either take or go to F6) if he takes( Queen G7) or if he goes to F6 (Rook to D6).
I can't lie this whole time I was wondering why the college class was only full of really high pitched women who cant seem to remember a lesson they learned from 2 minutes ago. And then I read the title again lmao
It's not a bad move but black will just move his bishop on the same diagonal and white king will be defended worse. Plus since black has an extra pawn white has to play aggressive or black will try to divert one of white's pieces with the pawn and then try to checkmate him.
13:05 Einstein would play Qxr, then Oppenheimer would hang mate in 3 five consecutive times and Einstein wouldn't see it - poor kids, Akobian expects them to be better than Einstein
Has anyone else noticed how many chess champions have come from the Caucasian peoples spread across what was the south part of the former Soviet Union?
Yes I have because I am Armenian and Armenians have many chess champions. I also believe Georgians have many champions too, so thank you for noticing this and bringing it up.
that guy just knows his shit. one of the first people I can actually listen to without that pretentious American speech flow that sounds the same exact way, each and every time.
+Fak Jea they're kids...... their pre-frontal cortex brain development does not have a universal growth rate; just like puberty, there are late and early bloomers if they're 18-23 , then of course.....play something else.
Fjudi Antonov you can; but dont expect to be good. by that age (18-23) you've got other things going in your life than to dedicate the required hours ....unless you;re some sort of genius.....which are only outliers
+Fjudi Antonov I'm 45 and learning chess. You mean i can't enjoy playing with players of my level. You way of thinking is a narrow one. Every player in this world wins somebody and loses to somebody else, even Carlsen.
i like this guy, excellent teacher, precise, patient yet pushes the kids to think outside the box ......perfect
+used_tissue Much better than Shahade. Chess class without the annoying voice and he's not even a native English speaker.
He is my favorite invisible instructor.
I have won a couple of games comfortably just by listening to and watching his instructions.

@@justincase5032 i gotta disagree with you 😅 its teaching for a reason
Varuzhan Akobian is the best chess teacher i have ever seen
Kralju. Svaka cast! Cista ljubav prema samoj igri i svojim ucenicima. Bravo

One of the most passionate checkmate-calls ive seen 39:00
Greatest respect. Huge thanks to Mr Akobian. An excellent video and tutorial, and not only for kids.

Excellent teacher GM Varuzhan Akobian
I like the way he teaches, i'm just an amateur but i'm grasping the bigger picture now !
He’s indeed a good teacher, the way he explains definitely u will learn something. Thanks sir for sharing ur Ideas, You really inspired me to do my own tutorial. Deserve to subscribe 👍
If you learned something new here you have no right, nor place, nor call to be subjecting us to a tutorial. Please, PLEASE refrain!
Capablanca 's tactic was a brilliancy, thanks.
I'm proud I got that Capablanca one
TheTacticalRabbit - AW Tactics & Strategies me too omg, i got like goosebumps
Congratulations
Thanks for loading those videos up... those have been a great resource for me! I especially like how GM Akobian prefers his adjectives to be "excellent" and "brilliant" :D
Man Akobian is an amazing teacher! Not only a grand Master at chess but he could've made a lot of money as a professor at a college.
I love these sessions
Excellent, thanks!!!
Love the vids you guys are putting up. Thanks.
I love this guy !

Pawn:F4 (forcing the bishop to either take or go to F6)
if he takes( Queen G7)

Flo Knödl couldn't bishop go to b2 instead of d6?
If bishop goes F6 then queen takes queen😎
@@steven2982 it can but then the queen Black's queen is hanging
19:43 Classic example of Anastasia's mate!
At 28:00 queen g3 is winning too in case opponent doesn't move rook
I can't lie this whole time I was wondering why the college class was only full of really high pitched women who cant seem to remember a lesson they learned from 2 minutes ago. And then I read the title again lmao
The great Varuzhan
What if at 29:10 black did not take queen but instead move queen to a7 or b7
very nice sir
22:54
If we push f pawn to f3 and if he takes pawn than its a checkmate with queen g7.
Am i right or not?
The hell if I had watched last rook and king I would have won today😂😂ended draw
I also think the game has developed a lot in last part of 20. century because of the great competion.
Thanks sir
Sir you are my hero !
At 18:05 the king cud just take the pawn... It hasn't lost yet
whats wrong with pawn to f4 as 1st move in that Capablanca situation??
It's not a bad move but black will just move his bishop on the same diagonal and white king will be defended worse. Plus since black has an extra pawn white has to play aggressive or black will try to divert one of white's pieces with the pawn and then try to checkmate him.
@@xWINfinity you forgot that if he moves in the same diagonal then black's queen is hanging without support.
Sir make a video as sicilin defence for black plz i'm sicilin player i want to learn some ideas
This man looks like chess, he is awesome.
In Capablanca's game why did he not move pawn f4. Checkmate or wins the bishop right away or queen.
"very close, but he will say 'checkmate' "
good trolling, Varuzhan.
very nice!!!
"yah tis was done by a world champion, very advanced. We want to do advance tings you kno, become world champions"
Yeah I was thinking the same thing.
If I play E4 and the opponet respond with D4? I can't do the sicilian anymore right? What should I do then?
OMG im so proud, i got the capablanca move
6:37 sounds like something from a conspiracy theory:D
great uoo
nice
But how you call kasparovs opening?!
22:18 You Too..
4:57 8:50
First of all what is the name of this opening?
13:05 Einstein would play Qxr, then Oppenheimer would hang mate in 3 five consecutive times and Einstein wouldn't see it - poor kids, Akobian expects them to be better than Einstein
Why he move c5

Why do you use a GM to give this class? Seems like a waste of precious resources.
