He voices any thing you see , improvising is key , timeing depending on mood for the day i am sure he can make the same note sound different. Just natural

There's one or two places I'm sure I heard him play a wrong note...but with Bill you just can't ever be sure. I've been a low key fan since Tales From the Far Side many years ago...what a perfect guy to do the soundtrack for that.
He inspires you to trust your heart when you play. The fingers will follow, if you’ve put your time in. (and I believe it helps to have lost a love once or twice,at least, and healed..)
I think Bill Frisell has the most immediately recognizable sound of any working guitarist today. I could Pepsi Challenge that any day of the week -- there are so many small things that he does with phrasing and voicing and tone that are so idiosyncratic.
