A lovely uplifting video Jane. It's great when the harvests start rolling in. The shot of everything on the table was lovely. Those dahlias are cracking. I am getting so much chard but I'm ashamed to say I never know what to do with it other than soups and stir fries. The chickens and quail get loads of it too. Love your array of trugs. All the best. Mags
Yes I think our chickens benefit from the chard as much as we do! I might try freezing some this year but not sure how it will turn out. It's good to know we finally get some food for all of our efforts isn't it?! Thanks Mags x
Hi Jane, lovely shop and what's nice is that you can keeping coming back over this month and enjoy more. I think you pronounced Grushovka correct, in the first year I use to just call it the Russian tomato, I'm not very good at pronunciation.
Ha ha - I haven't a clue! It's funny how the harvests creep up on you isn't it - one day it's a couple of tomatoes the next it's a trug full of cabbage! Thanks Ady x
@@JanesGrowingGarden Ahhh but they make great boats of yumminess. Scoop out the middle and fill with meatballs, sauce and cheese. Or all kinds of other fillers.
Love it!! Cracking harvest Jane! I keep thinking I haven't got much variety as some of the things I usually have, like fennel and kale didn't make it past the slugs and yet each day there is something to pick, even if it is another basket of beans...I like beans! 😁
It’s a marrogette Ofcourse!! Lovely harvest Jane. I’ve grown honeycombe toms this year instead of sungold too and I completely agree what a lovely sweet favour. When you talk about eating a crop before it goes home this is what I do with these. It’s a good job there always lots to harvest. I’m not a fan of raw peas tbh. I do 😊love your shed what a cosy place to be in. So many lovely flowers on your plot too. Ps how Mike getting on with his new plot?
But of course - or is it a corrow? I do love the shed - looking forward to lighting the fire again soon! Mike is loving his plot and whenever I see him he's wandering around with different bits of wood so I think you could say it's 'in progress'! Thanks Lynne.
There is always a lull at this time of year but this time it’s been particularly hard. I hope it doesn’t put new creators off as there are some wonderful channels out there. Thanks Susan.

Thank you!
Those romanesco type zucchini are best eaten small like 8" long for best flavor....at least that's what we like.
What a varied and lovely harvest.
I thought as much - there's always 'one that gets away'! Thanks Robin x

Looks like apples are ready, too! This time of year there's almost too much to harvest. It's such a blessing, though.
The apples are almost there - I could do with some to bulk up the blackberries! Thank you

Nice harvest. Our courgettes haven't even flowered yet. I'm not sure how late in the year is too late having never grown them before.
Oh everything has been so late - there's still time though. Fingers crossed!
Such a beautiful harvest 🌱🌿💚
Thank you - the flowers are such a bonus crop!
Hello Jane. What a super video. May I ask where you are located?
Hello! I'm up here in sunny Staffordshire!
So many channels are struggling. Shame on you tube.
