I really enjoy watching your videos thanks for taking me along I watch your Channel and your Brothers Channel you guys are so awesome and amazing I would love to meet you guys maybe one day. Keep up all the hard work and keep making these awesome videos thank you thank you thank you for being a farmer you always want to thank a farmer take care God bless
That's a great old barn. I would venture to guess it was built around the turn of the last century. Tie stalls for dairy cows and large stalls for draft horses. It's a very nice old barn, surprisingly well kept without many interior changes. I hope you find a way to store hay in the loft, nothing beats the aroma of cured alfalfa. I built houses for 45 years and never tired of watching lumber trucks deliver. Best regards from Indiana, USA.
I live in Canada when my husband got wood delivered they always took it off with fork lifts. Glad everything went ok with your delivery. The ones that were damaged should be replaced
The new "drone" intro is a nice addition.. coulda done with holding on the shear vastness of the prairie a little longer... but meh.. a minor quibble.. the flag was a great touch 👍 Much love and Thanks so much for sharing
You got that barn looking good inside Neline. I was surprised to see the staircase to get up to the loft. Usually they just have ladders that you have to climb. Hopefully the cats straighten out their differences. I have two cats. Munchkin, a female tuxedo that is polydactyl and Smokey, a grey and white male. They are brother and sister. Munchkin loves to lie in wait and ambush Smokey.
Yep that’s the way they deliver lumber when no fork lift is available. If it was the first time seeing this, I can understand why it stressed you out a bunch.
My daughters cats suddenly chase each other round the house. They pounce on each other and stalk each other. When they are bored with doing the Zoomies they go to sleep. I am surprised that the truck does not have a crane attached for lifting off the wood. Perhaps timber is cheaper in Canada so it does not matter if some is spoilt. I am surprised they do not have rollers underneath it so it slips off more easily.
@@ADairyonthePrairie i guess the unloading was so stressful that you forgot about the video 🤪 Wood is gotten so expensive at least in The Netherlands and Hungary where i live.
I don’t even want to think about the price for wood. We just did our fence just on the one side of the yard. We still have the other side but that neighbour has to agree to the price as they have to pay half. As we did with our other neighbour. Plus we had to replace our front loader washer and gas dryer all in one week. But I’m sure this project you have going will be the perfect home for the cutest goats 🐐
I agree! My goal was to have my kittens be my barn cats, and now I’m afraid to even bring them over 😒. I’ll probably be rehoming both. Although I’m not sure if they belong to the neighbours or not 🤔.
Howdy Neline, I hope ya'll are doing well, Ya, you definitely do not want to get involved in a cat fight, I made that mistake once, I'll never do that again, I ended up getting attacked by my own cay, trying to say him from a dog, and he bit me 7 times and so fast too, put me in the hospital, ended up with an iv line in my arm, had to go to the hospital twice a day for a week for antibiotics, and he bit hard !! I've been bit by a dog before, but my cat bit way harder lol Stay safe, God Bless and Farm on my Friends, Peace
I have noticed on a number of channels in North America that they use this method of making Timber deliveries, and just cant get my head round why customers accept this. If I ordered materials and any of it was damaged then I would not accept the load. Here in the UK, all such materials would be off loaded by forklift or craned off never just dumped off the truck. Regardless of that, I still enjoyed the videos
Hi me and my mom saw your video on video ideas and we thought you should do a video about telling us all the goats names we also love this content and we are really excited to get some of your merch thank you neline
All the building supplies around in BC have hijabs to unload or a hitchhiker forklift on the back. That is not a great way to deliver lumber. Especially at todays prices.
Hey Neline, which is your favourite (westgen) bull for your heifers? And what's your bull selection criteria for heifers based on which traits? Thanks, All the way from Pakistan ~
Relax, lumberyards have been delivering lumber like this for a hundred years. It'll be fine. They'll replace anything damaged and it'll still be less expensive than the time and trouble of a forklift.
Because sending a crane to unload those truck is way cost prohibitively. I doubt if they damaged anything. If they did it would be less than fifty bucks. Relax.
you made a very good choice when you said you weren't getting between those cats.
That tuxedo cat is protecting his/her hunting grounds. Winter is coming, and food will become scarce. Survival of the fittest.

You have done so much work! It's nice and clean and looks great!
Yes, I agree. The barn will look much better with goats in it. So excited to see the transformation.

The barn's character and mystique is what I see. She's beautiful. Your imagination will run wild with this project

Lot of wood bet it cost ten arms and ten legs. Barn is beautiful.

I had to scroll back like is she speaking Dutch now? Yes you where and mom answered.
The fighting cats got me scared, the red one is so pretty
If I’m not thinking about the video taping, I’m usually talking in Dutch to my mum 😆.

Great video. So enjoy watching Young Folks build new lives for themselves!
I think I'd be re-locating one of those cats.

Excellent way to bust up lumber.
Best of luck with the renovations. I hope you can keep glass in the windows. I'm a big fan of light.
Have never seen wood delivered like that before. The trucks here carry a little machine that lifts it off the truck. And deposits the wood in stacks.
Can't wait to see the renovation
You did a great job cleaning out that old barn.
Those look like work horse tie stalls.
Everything is starting to come together for you. Good luck can’t wait to see all your animals in there new home.
I helped build my home when I was 50 yrs. old, so enjoying watching😊
you do all of this building.
I love that old barn! What an asset to your ranch!
2 toms, just need to let nature take it's course.
I'm a 74yo Australian and ya barn looked great from my place. 😂
Two male cats?? 🐈⬛🐈 Territory issues possibly. Another great, interesting video. Thank you 😊

Baby that one is part raccoon😊 that is a big barn cat.😮

I'm a senior and I've never seen lumber unloaded like this. Crazy!
Relax, they replace any damaged lumber. Surprisingly very little is damaged. As you can plainly see.
Typically orange/Ginger cats are males, well as Tuxedo cats so they appear to be well feed ..

well at least not eggs? holding my breath!

Lol.......cat life 😄
That’s a beautiful barn. I’d love to know how many goats will go into each . Also wondering how you’ll do your fences for coral?
Surprised they didnt use a forklift for the wood delivery. With the cost of material, I would think they would want more care maneuvering it around.
That looks like a lot of wood. You will be busy no doubt.
Life isn’t dull.
All his kittens came out orange tiger and the mother was a black cat 😂😂😂😂
ILMAO listening to you while the wood was being unloaded, you would have thought something very fragile was being unloaded
like her checkbook? Lol
Don't know what it's called in your country but you can cover the barn openings with poultry wire to keep the birds out.

Hmmmm maybe both Tom cats protecting their property?
I just can’t believe they slide a load of wood off the end of the truck. Shaking my head. What is this world coming to?
Loads were too big to get off with a skid steer and I don’t drive the big loader. This was simply the only way to do it this day.

Tom cats that aren't neutered are the worst!

Wow that is the worst way to deliver timber - the risk of damaging it is huge - why don’t they use a crane truck to lift it of
