Hello from Germany. Had the MaGregor Mactec NVG2 Draw Driver back in the day. Gave it to my father, he still uses and likes it. Apart from that, I still use my V-Foil M565 forged irons. Have two sets of them, one with graphite and one with steel shafts. I will never give these away. They feel and look so great...!
I'm gonna say the same thing I said on Robbos review of that driver; That club reminds me a lot of myself. Proof that something can be f#@k-ugly and still do a job. 😂
For most of the weekend golfers i know, their satisfaction and scores would benefit more from a $200 driver and $300 worth of lessons than from a $500 driver!
The only thing this has to do with the old MacGregor is the name. The company has changed ownership and/ or been bankrupt many times. Jack Nicklaus and Greg Norman have been involved at various stages. More recently owned by Golfsmith, and then Dicks, and now Golf Brands who also own Ram , Zebra and Teardrop. All producing respectable budget equipment
I noticed the US stuff is totally different and a bit more upmarket. Using the MacTec name, available with a stiff shaft and a weight in the head $150usd

The VIP irons and Reverse Draft were rated very highly.

You say it is a good hit but the angle of your camera makes it look like it is headed for the high weeds.
The U.S. versions are sure better looking.
This cries out for a Dave testing.

The downside is it’s absolutely hideous 🤢🤢🤢🤢
