This guy went from a time traveling paleontologist, to a national park visitor trying to pet a bison very quickly. It still does not make sense why he would be safe touching a large herbivore. They would be intelligent enough to observe him as well, even if they were gentle
In reality even if the herd of Therizinosaurus wouldn't see him as a threat they would still attack nigel regardless cause herbivores are actually more dangerous than predators
We’ve went from Theri with no feathers being inaccurate, to Theri with feathers is possibly inaccurate?? And now a chunky, hairless, fat Theri is accurate now??? Honestly idk what to believe anymore lol

Actually these are all speculations, who knows , the use of those claws must be to cut trees or to dig underground fruits and veggies. Paleontology is a science with maximum speculations overs 100% facts
They were probably to fragile to fight with, so it probably used them for digging up plants, reaching up to grab vegetation, possibly even mating, to show off, males might've had colorful feathers and swung their claws around, then again, they we mostly solitary, and lived alone, so probably just for getting food.

I actually quite like the occasional use of subtle shaky cam here. It helps to make the experience and creatures feel more real.
