I love your non-stream playthroughs. Without chat back-seating, and with you just doing your own thing without the need to "entertain" chat, your personality shines even more thoroughly. I can't wait for more of these.
I fully agree, I love the streams and the chat, but when Insym can give his full attention to the game it just feels so much more immersive to watch.
@@Arcian That's what I really liked in his old stream recordings too, when chat was really quiet, so he basically experienced the game for himself with his own pace and wits and without shifting focus to the audience. Different kind of enjoyment ❤
this 100%
Yes.
babe wake up we have the insym shift
😂😂😂
Im glad it pays 4 smints per hour. Perfect for a few runs ghost hunting.

You're getting paid for this?! I'm just getting dopamine, relaxation, cozy feels, I need a promotion 😭
Plot twist you don't have a babe 😂
This is actually a good, I think, orignal joke. Got a good chuckle outta me 😆 🤣
The fact that you kept myself and 36k+ others entertained for over 8.5 hours shows your skills as a content creator. Your watch time has to be through the roof with this one. Thanks man, keep up the good work.
6 and a half hours in... still going strong. And this is the first ever video I watched from him. Guess I'm gonna stick around for more!
Knowing the second ending really changes how a lot of the dialogue feels. First playthrough, it’s all mysterious and like everyone is a little crazy, but after the reveals, the story comes together wonderfully. I wish I was able to experience the game myself, but I can’t right now. Playthroughs like this have helped me enjoy the game vicariously at least. It’s been a lot of fun
Well written games are still possible to make, even in the modern day, however, the big game companies seems to have forgotten how to do it.
I'm a true VODS watcher so an 8 hour video is the best thing! I'm gonna be watching this all day! 💜
Same i drive for work😂its perfect background for my entire shift
@Candi Chadwick just grinding some diablo3 or some other game and watching insym on second monitor is just perfect :D
same. I know what I'm doing while I work today. Spoiler Alert, it's watching this video.

Yall be watching as you work?! Bro gimme an application form I want in 😭
Oh my god an 8 hour Insym video?!?! What did we do to deserve this????? ❤️❤️

*"I AM THE CHOSEN ONE!"*
The old mayor was actually the reason why our main protagonist is on this quest of retrieving every relic.
Afterall it was mentioned that he'd gone "mad" after he kept shouting "throw it back" probably referring to all the relics in an attempt to stop us the protagonist from summoning you know who.
The "Skinless Face" on the fabric mentioned on the black stones at gale cliffs might actually be referring to you know who...
(this might've been obvious for some people but hey, they're worth mentioning to the other people (- - )
I can't believe I just binged your first playthrough, and then proceeded to binge this one. I loved the uniqueness of the first playthrough, but I'm super glad you came back and 100%'ed it! Thought I'd post my plot theory as well for this one (Which completely changed after seeing the true end).
Spoilers ahead:
First thing to note is the order of the notes you collected is inverted to what you thought, with oldest notes being at the top with the newest at the bottom, based on the beginning notes being dated. The notes, save for a few formal papers such as receipts, are written by the Girl in diary format. They tell of her dating, engaging, and marrying a fisherman, and he loves his new wife so much that he renames his new boat after here, Julie. The fisherman is extremely superstitious and follows the renaming ritual exactly, but Julie loved the old name, Ocean Riches, so much that she decided to keep it. This would be her, and the fisherman's, downfall.
Julie was not the only one at fault for the upcoming tragedy, because the fisherman's family were (likely) all collectors of the relics as well. After the mother-in-law passed away, she left Julie a pocket watch in her will. This is the same watch that we find for the collector, and the reason why he refers to the ticking to be just as uncomfortable as it always was. And later on after the renaming of the boat, the fisherman installed dredging equipment. While the wife was excited about treasure hunting, the fisherman tried to keep her uninvolved by saying she would "find it boring or the crew intolerable." He eventually agreed and let her join him in his hunt.
After finding nothing but mainly junk, they come across a true treasure. The casket, and within the casket they find the crimson cloth. The crew here would include the old mayor of Little Marrow. Upon opening the casket, the fisherman went insane. Julie looked into his eyes and saw only the void staring back at her. After this event, she became sick. Cold, unable to feel any warmth while clouding her mind and making her unable to think. This would be Julie's last dated entry. The following notes complain of feeling only cold for years, and that her letters have not received a response. Likely she has been swallowed by the sea, and is trying to write to the fisherman. She knows he can't write to her because she is "dead," which she is fine with, but her tone changes and she writes "he MUST return," before deciding to write to him one last time.
The next note is the most important of all. "My darling, I have found you at last. ... I almost feel whole again. One thing left to do. Throw me back." Julie, in the form of the crimson book, found her way to the fisherman once more, along with her other letters to him. A sort of final farewell (in eldritch format), but the fisherman could not heed her words. He could not accept being without her, and kept the book despite the warnings of his friend, the old mayor. The fisherman decided he would bring Julie back, no matter the cost.
Only one note left behind was written by the fisherman. It appeared to be notes taken during research into how to bring back Julie, as well as what happened. He identifies the casket as the core that brought the maddening fog, and that "Five=Rise." Five relics given to the sea would raise her back from the dead.
The fisherman would find the relics of his lost love. Her music box, the key to open said box, the pocket watch left to her by his mother, the ring he used to propose to her, and a silver necklace he purchased for her before their engagement. But at some point, the fisherman has completely lost his mind and the relics. In the state he is in he can not find them, and eventually disappears from Greater Marrow. Leaving them without a fisherman, until you come along. We replace the old fisherman who spent barely any time catching fish, and often traveled at night despite the dangers of the fog. The fisherman who could care less about fishing and would sacrifice everything to save Julie. That fisherman could have been lost and forgotten forever, that is until you find the corrupted fish, and within the flesh a piece of The Crimson Cloth. It is not until after finding this that the collector appears to us and offers us rewards for finding more relics. But the collector is not a real being, but the consciousness we had locked away. The lighthouse keeper and the mayor knew our mental state was extremely fragile, that's why the mayor warned us about the fog and sailing at night whenever we came back with levels of panic. He feared we would become aware of the past. The Lighthouse keeper, an old friend of ours (her excitement at seeing you when you return with the haste ability turns to disappointment realizing its just "us," and not the fisherman), continuously warns us and hopes that we know what we're doing and the consequences involved.
There is one last friend who remained with us the whole time as we unwittingly acquired the relics and slipped back into our insanity. The Old Mayor. The camps we find were left deserted by the other man driven mad by The Crimson Cloth, and we manage to catch him in the Devil's Spine. He sees us and raves about throwing it back, and we write it off as a mad man being mad. The Old Mayor must have been completely lucid when he saw us though, because he needed us to throw the Crimson Book back into the sea as we were instructed.
The final note, left by the Old Mayor, speaks of us. We are close to finding all of the relics, and he wonders if we even know what we are doing. He goes on to confess that he's desecrated the temple at Devil's Spine, but it was the only way for us to understand the messages originally engraved on the walls (he leaves instructions about magma vents and the fish). The last two lines of his note contradict each other, or go together. A desire to help his old friend the Fisherman versus the need to stop him from continuing on, or recognizing the only way to help him is by stopping him.
We find the temple, aid the fanatic with the help of the notes left behind by our friend, and acquire the final relic. Returning to Blackstone, we can continue to follow the instructions of our subconscious materialized as the collector, or we can confront our past and wake up and remember who we are, what we've done, and what we've lost. Even by choosing to wake up, the collector remains in the mirror. We have the opportunity, even after learning the truth, to continue on and complete the ritual and bring back Julie. Or we can turn our back on the comfort of insanity and return to the lightkeeper. Our old friend is kind to us, and is happy we have returned at long last, and guides us one last time to where the Crimson Book must be returned to the depths to the original owner - Our beloved Julie.
This is the best explanation of the story i have read so far
I can't believe I read all that
So old fisherman also = collector = us? That's interesting. All of this sounds really good!
Couldn't have said it better myself, the description you've given of the game is spot on! But still leaving grey areas in the story for an open ending. Probably as intended. Not a day goes by where I don't think about the unknown story in Dredge. How did Julie get lost at sea? Did she drown? Is *"The Researcher"* Julie's sister and our sister in law? As well as a missing answer to my own theory, did the retrieval and opening of the casket that one night, awake an ancient being of higher power pretending to send messages to us as Julie, (pretending the book somehow was Julie's doing but in fact was this being lying to us so it could get released) and "tricked" us, maybe forced us to complete the ritual with the relics, all in promise it would bring Julie/herself back, our since long, lost love, but instead the ritual would release this being into its mortal form, like it had been chained, bound, in an astral form long ago until we released it. And by us pulling the casket up from the depths and opening it, this being had the chance to escape its astral imprisonment...
I think this theory is really good. There are only two things that I believe are slightly different. First I think that the light house keeper is not our friend but that of the old mayor, who was aboard our ship. So when she hears our engine, she is disappointed to not find the Old mayor. It is clearly hinted that the subject of the old mayor is painful to her, and that she should forget about her. I also think that the book was what was dredged up in the casket, wrapped in crimson cloth. Afterall, the not never tells you what was inside the casket. Just that cloth spilled out of it.
You're an absolute madman bringing this level of quality content, super grateful I get to see you perfect the game
I noticed during my own playthrough, after watching yours, that you already have the collectors book (and maybe his glasses?) in the opening cutscene.
On the right side of the map around 0:50 seconds into the video.
That's such a cheeky way to foreshadow the twist holy shit
Oh my gosh! you're right!
Holy shit that is SNEAKY, that is indeed the glasses and the "Tome of the Deep", the fisherman was mad from the start.
I remember the Collector mentioning the Fisherman wanted to "forget"
This was probably at the point where the Fisherman was recieving that fate, his crash was the "gift" of forgetting and as consequence the creation of the Collector.
The Fisherman was already insane even before the start of the game.
Goodness me this is amazing.
@blackspectre209 it was amazing up until that "twist."
It doesn't make sense. Too many characters don't recognise you as the first Fisherman, let alone whoever he was before he became the Fisherman out of grief or whatever the hell they contrived there (for example, the Mayor. He should recognise you, you're being hired to replace yourself for that town. The Old Mayor was for Lesser Marrow on the other island. The fishmonger should recognise you, the lighthouse keeper should be a whole lot more insistant. The only one who does is the nutjob Old Mayor who's been marooned for who knows how long). The whole coffin thing that's corrupting everything becomes some sort of non-issue factor to the story at the end, even though it's the basis of a big portion of the story as you're playing, as well as arguably a majority of the gameplay revolves around.
The Fisherman and the Collector being the same person, yeah, sure, a bit contrived and derivative, but its workable. The Fisherman, the Old Fisherman, and the Collector all being the same person? Naw, that's too much.
@@llamaczech Because they don't remember you as a "Fisherman", they remember you as the "Collector" 20 years ago.
The bottlemails were the hints and what people say as well.
That was the original appearance, the Main Character was originally a handsome well dressed, glasses wearing strapping lad donning a suit.
Now it's been *20 years,* and the village has had people coming and going, but not only the village denizens has changed, however the Main Character has as well, he is now a middle aged rough looking man donning a common fishing get up and hat.
The Old Fisherman was someone different, the main character wasn't around as he was gone a whole 20 years.
You could find the old fishermens wreck behind the island with a different boat, which was not where the New fisherman crashed.
You could see a few people mistake his identity, such as the Trader.
Only people closely related to the Tome event would recognise him.
The casket wasn't important, its contents was.
*The Tome of the Deep*
During this time the old mayor, one of the only ones who witnessed the event tried to get rid of the artificats, which is why he went all around the place (You can find him anywhere, he keeps moving), and why the artifcats too were all around the place.
The Lighthouse keeper herself mentions how he has his own boat.
For the long 20 years the artificats deformed.
Only the few individuals 20 years ago related to the event would recognise him.
And of course most of them moved out of Marrow.
Which is:
The Old Mayor, (Traumatised by your actions, he instantly knows you, he was there when the casket was dredged)
The Lighthouse keeper (Recognises him barely, even doubted her sight blaming the fog, she saw from the Lighthouse when the casket was opened)
The Trader. (Failed to recognise him, he changed too much, minor relations due to dredge operations over 20 years ago)
you just filled a hole in me that i didn't know i even had. its been a long week for me and its only getting worse, but knowing i have this 8 1/2 hour master piece to look forward to makes me super happy. thanks for your hard work off stream
You were also lucky it didn't take too long for you to see the Old Mayor as his location changes from time to time. Remember the abandoned campsites/makeshift docks?
The somber feel at the end with the music is truly heartwarming. It's letting your passed away loved one go and meeting her in the heavens again. You chose something above your selfish desires and found peace in return. Such an awesome game.
This is why your community is so strong. You're a mad man, and we appreciate all of the work you do for us. Put out hours worth of off-stream content AND keep up the normal streaming schedule AND edit all of the videos AND read all of the comments. I hope you're fitting in some sleep too.
ikr? im kinda worried he’s overworking himself
love the fact that insym made the protagonist even more crazy than the game intended in the first run.
sailing all over the place with a tiny boat like a mad man
It took me a few days to finish all 8 hours but I did it in portions and I did it!
All the fake outros were hilarious. After the second one, I literally snorted in disbelief and waited and yeahh there was one more thing 🤣
I like games like these with stories and a chill vibe, more of this please!
Long videos are a dream for me as someone who has ADHD, because playing a video on my 2nd monitor while I play games helps me focus on both the game *and* the video, and not having to browse for new videos every 10-20 minutes makes the experience a lot smoother.
I enjoy straight away that the put effort into moving your damaged boat, stuff on to the new boat for you, but just left your unconscious body lying on the dock until you luckily woke up in the morning
This video is great, this is my type of content.
Completing everything with the smallest amount of timeskips just for some completion after everything else is done.
This is the first time I've watched any of your videos and I watched the entire thing in one sitting.
And I completely agree with that statement you made at some point close to the end, that you could only really appreciate the game in its entirety once you actually did everything instead of missing or skipping stuff, or not reading dialog. And that is the exact reason why I will always heavily prefer playing a game or watching gameplay to 100% completion.
And I think more content creators should do this, because it can be so hard to find a full commentated completionist playthrough of whichever game I want to watch.
THANK YOU.
I picked up Dredge after watching your first episode a few days ago and I'm loving it so much.
Thank you for showcasing so many cool games like this!
30:28-31:30 Note and Insym's theory on why rocks appear and disappear.
1:11:54 rock appeared
1:19:29 Actually, the castaway could've sold his signet ring. Looks like he needs the money. And if it said the ring was good luck, wouldn't anyone need that? They could've had him not say he doesn't need it, and that he wanted to give it as thanks to the MC. That would've made more sense.
1:19:38 Game says the ring gives good luck. Insym: "Is it tho? I don't think it did for this guy."
Yeah. But getting found and rescued is lucky.
2:42:33 4:33:24 giant crabs with a ship and plane their on backs
2:42:50 5:27:54 whale
3:10:08 People should learn not to get frustrated at gamers.
3:28:35 I wouldn't be complaining if I was given more inventory at the beginning.
3:34:15 treasure chest
3:37:28 I was hoping Insym tried to to give the dog to someone else this time.
3:46:15 dolphins
3:46:21Oarfish?
4:14:36 shark slab quest
4:20:00 courier
4:26:09 I think no danger or horror at all is more chill. Like those wholesome cute games. I like that Dredge is relaxing.
4:28:57 7:12:06 giant fish attack
5:17:38 5:46:13 6:04:04 6:43:11 Hooded figures. They live for like 46 days.
5:33:10 5:59:16 6:19:13 7:03:41 Hooded figures gives books called Haggling and Bartering, Engine, Advanced Fishing, and Nautical Engineering.
5:22:42 waterfall
5:29:12 old mayor and lore, 7:28:52 paintings of lore
5:39:55 I prefer if gamers read the dialogue, notes, and lore.
5:47:06 sunfish
6:01:43 tetris effect
6:05:03 skeletal moonfish
6:14:27 giant tentacle attack
6:20:09 I finished the video.
6:25:44 Achievement: From the Fog. Hear a fog horn echo. Terrifying? I thought it was cool.
6:34:13 Fully upgraded the boat. I'm surprised at the no achievement.
6:39:29 7:23:12 exploding debris
6:44:05 really orange sky
7:13:43 achievement: Master Angler
7:24:06 encrusted talisman
7:37:57 Guilding Light poem on tablet key, 7:53:37 putting in the tablet at the Ancient Ruins
7:48:56 With bait, time of when to fish doesn't matter.
7:51:19 achievement: Catch all Aberrations when documenting all 128 fish
7:56:53 achievement: Compete All Sidequests One Way or Another
7:58:46 first ending of doom and Insym's theories
8:08:31 Second ending of destroying the collector's book, and lore. If the MC got eaten in the better ending, that doesn't seem good either.
8:10:27 I thought the collector looked kinda like a mirror.
8:15:08 I liked that you have to click "throw it back" over and over like you're fighting with the book and struggling to do right.
8:07:19 notes
8:18:03 Insym: "If you're still watching this you're crazy. You're watching like a nine hour video, you're mad. Are you mad? Like eight hours."
Well you made this video, and played that long. Some people might have taken a break part way through.
5:36:58 I'm disappointed that the boots weren't part of a quest like Insym thought they might be.
I've been wanting to know what happens if you do the hooded figures quest cause they're mysterious. And wanting to know the other ending.
I wish there were mermaids in Dredge.
Holy sh*t you need a raise!!
Ayo king you dropped this 👑
8:18:03 watching 8 hours video is ez, you’re the real mad person here 😂😂
8 hours of dredge? Let’s goo!I love this game! Thank you for the video, take care ❤
I absolutely adore this game. I watched someone else play it, but they had broken it up into sections and hadn't completed it yet and thats how i stumbled onto your channel. You have an amazing personality and I thoroughly enjoyed myself watching this! Keep it up! It took me like 3 days to get through it because i would try to watch this before bed, but overall amazing to see someone give so much love to the game! Excited to check out your other stuff
It's such a beautiful game, watched the whole previous playthrough just 5 mins before and now you uploaded this.
This amount of content is nuts. If I had any doubts before then now I am 100% certain. Insym does not sleep.
yeah he gotta be a vampire or something
Insym you seriously never fail to entertain us never give up
You know it's a good game when Insym sets out to 100% it.
The most profound and introspective thing to say sometimes is the enjoy the quiet of the credits, I'm an avid youtube gang and vod gang and adore seeing you play through games and playing side by side with you on my second monitor. I hope you play Sunless Sea soon, and look forward to all your videos!
Insym: Are you crazy? You are still watching?|
Me with popcorn and a smile on my face: Yesh :33
jesus finally finish this 8 hours marathon, great job on this one. really appreciate your hard work. enjoy every second of this!
This is me sorted today whilst I work from home! Thank you for the great videos on this game!
We need more off stream Insym content!! Its so apparntly clear how much more true you are to yourself and that's honestly worth watching!
8:16:23 Essentially with the return of the book to the sea and your sacrifice, the fog is lifted once again, freeing the waters of the curses and monstrosities. Or at least from what I can tell.
Fun facts: the relics change description if you’re completely insane. For example, the “Ornate Key” becomes “Diary Key” with a new description. The pocket watch becomes “Her Watch.” Very cool detail.
You can use Atrophy to quickly get aberrations.
There is a genuine ghost ship (Insym saw it), the ghost shipwreck (he also saw it), and apparently a ghost island… I haven’t seen that one personally. BUT I’m fairly sure it appeared on the horizon for Insym around 8:24:30.
The Dockworker isn’t doing so hot, definitely pay him a visit after he receives both packages.
The echoed honking (after a player honks) is from the angler ghost ships. I’m not sure what the range is because they seem to echo it from all over the place!
The opening cutscene foreshadows the twist: you can see the book of the deep and a familiar pair of glasses.
The devs also apparently made it so the dog cannot die in your cargo, so you could technically bring it with you everywhere. But considering both endings it’s probably still safest with the Researcher ;)
Being at the end of the outro, the credits and the bonus content, and the extra bit, i can only say i love all of it :D Thanks for 8+ great and motivating hours of playthrough. Love to see more in the future.
You. You are now amongst my favourite TH-camrs of all time. I loved the previous videos on this game and I love these
Just leaving a comment to say I really love the long videos. I like having them on in the background when I'm just chilling or working remotely
Watching a long time afterwards, but just want to say it was a really fun video, and I salute you for your tenacious dedication to showing everything. I think it shows just how much you appreciated the game and how much you enjoyed playing it. Also want to mention that a second DLC is coming on August 15th, I'll have to look to see if you've already played the first one, but if not it might be a great time to dive back in and give it another run! Thanks for all your effort and for sharing the fun!
It's time to watch Insym play this for 8+ hours straight.
the way insym so quickly sees ways to fit objects in his hold is super impressive to me. makes me wonder what kind of thought processes go on when he looks at his inventory, and how he sees grids and shapes differently from how I do. all i can imagine is the numbers meme, but with like tetrominoes flying around in his vision.
My goodness a perfect playthrough? this is like your redemption arc after missing the research button and the refined metals from the first playthrough 😂
ik this is an old video but I have been struggling lately and I have been watching this to calm down, I started crying at the end because I didn't feel alone and I loved the video so much
Oh my god, eight hours of Dredge, I'll go make lunch so I can enjoy watching it even more, this is awesome!!! Just when I was a little bummed the Dredge adventures were over, I see this pop up, THANK YOUUUU
I’m so glad you gave it another run, after watching this I realized how truly insane your first playthrough was so I’m glad you got to give it another go and we got to watch it. I’ve been enthralled with this game since your first episode and this felt super comforting and satisfying to watch! Love the content Insym!
"This is the longest video of all of time. Nobody's going to be watching this."
You underestimate me
I’m watching this a year later, but I enjoyed each second of this 8+ hours video. I looove watching your playthroughs with full focus, not just on the background, and it was so satisfying! Thank you for giving this game justice and showing all the hidden secrets!
I loved watching you play blind and finding things out at your own pace. Now we get to see a more refined playthrough with more efficient time spent on segments of the game. Speed run coming soon? Lol.
Watching the playthrough for the 3rd time because of the second ending reveal and willingness to see people's reactions while knowing the truth. Even the beginning intro shows many small details that were not noticeable before the second ending. Insym successfully snapped the time of my life for more than the length of this video, what a blast to watch.
I enjoyed this video so much! You're my go to 'voice in the back', you're often on my second screen when I work, do chores or when I'm gaming myself, because I enjoy your thoughts and rambles. So this unabridged, true experience of your personal playstyle without a chat telling you when you're missing something was virtually perfect to me. :D Now I really hope you'll find the time and games to make more videos 'just' for youtube, without chat.
7:00 - Usually the settings icon is one gear and near the corner of the screen. Putting it in a town's menu would be a really bizarre choice. But they should have tooltips for when you hover over an otherwise unlabeled icon.
You mad lad, this is why we love you Insym! God bless you my friend!
I'm so blessed to discover your channel bro!
welcome!
U have no idea how immensely i appreciate u doing this, all this effort and to even keep adding more and more of what u found after the outro, even the dockworker guy which i kept thinking about for like half the video about if ure gonna go back to him or not xD. In all seriousness thank you for this amazing video, this series has been one of the few things making me happy and excited these past few days, i rly appreciate all this effort u went through to play through the entire game all over again and get everything. You've definitely got urself a lifelong fan since i started watching u back in September of last year. Looking forward to all the other adventures in different games to come
Yay! Thank you for giving this awesome game the attention it deserves. That was a great and thorough playthrough and I enjoyed every minute. Take my subscription!
yesss been so excited for this video! thanks for all the entertainment insym
Thank you! I hoped for such full playthrough after watching your first playthrough, but I didn't expect it so soon!
Oh my God, this is gonna be so cool to watch. Thanks for uploading!!
So many hilarious Insym quotes but my favourite has to be: 'If i were a crazy fish, where would i be?'
It took me 2 days to watch finally, thanks Insym for the quality content, Love you dude 💜💜💜💜
It's taken me 2 to 3 days and it's still not done, got like 3 hrs left still and I've also been binging the entire playlist too I can't get enough of this game
@@Im_Iconic-Youre_Ironic Take your time and enjoy the spooky journey 🤗 i really hope there will be a follow up or another game by these devs in the future! Maybe fishing in space 🤣🤣 spooky space sea adventure?
I've watched the entire video. Thank you so much for putting this online and taking us with you on this quest.
After +- 7 hours, you wished for a magical gift to fish deformed fishes.... Ehm, you've got that one! It's literally one of the spells you earned 😂 the only one you never used. And the monsters in panic, I guess they are real to the experience in that moment.
But hey! Great stream, well played. I enjoyed it.
Hey, i just wanna say this. I’m Brazilian, and I watched some gameplay of Dredge, but I wanted a 100% completion playtrough , and just happened to find this video. I managed to watch the entire video, and never got bored. You’re such a great content creator, never heard of you, but I’m absolutely subscribing to your channel and following on twitch.
P.S.: I think you just missed and item called Blood Vessel (I guess it’s called like that), that is a motor part
When you read the text , you give it a character. I like that very much
This is such a good video to put on to go to sleep. Thank you for all the amazing content Insym. ❤
You crazy man. We love you. Thank you for playing.
Thank you for the massive chunk of content, I needed it today.
I loved your Dredge playthrough series and was hoping for more. Woke up and saw this 8.5 hr beaut. Yessss
I was watching the first ep when you posted this
Also,
THE ICONIC SWEATER :O
YESSS THE SWEATER IS BACK
Thank you for the full length episode! I still love your first playthrough! It was a wild adventure. Can't wait to watch it! Thank you 🎉
I could be wrong but I think the messages in the bottle are of the late fisherman and the “friend” of the lighthouse keeper. She constantly mentions the old fisherman and at one point in Dialogue that I got with her she mentions her love and how he was lost at sea and the messages in the bottle are from the old fisherman before you. The one that the other ship at sea during night time represents because she also states that at night she can hear his old vessel still sailing the seas
Thank you so much for making these videos! I know you're not too sure whether anyone will enjoy them, but, trust me, there are people like me and many others in these comments as well as lurkers that never speak who truly enjoy your chill videos where you're just being you, talking about random things and enjoying a chill game. Once again, thank you and I hope to see more similar playthroughs from you in the future!
That was really fun! And long! Thank you for playing, Insym! That game is just so cool.
I honestly have never been one to watch long VODs because they're always daunting, but I started watching your 3-4 hour VODs and figured if you could keep my short ass attention span enraptured for THAT long, double that would be possible! I'm about 6 hours in and I'm still interested so thank you for helping me relax after exam season!! I can't wait to see the end!
Just finished! I was honestly just about to comment about the dockworker before you beat me to it in the last minute there!
Broke up this playthrough over the last few days. Such a gripping story and great gameplay- definitely worth watching you play the whole thing, lol.
I know it’s quite late to mention, and I don’t know if someone else has said it already, but “Coelacanth” is actually pronounced “see-low-canth”! Or “see-luh-canth”, whichever is easier to say depending on one’s personal inflections
I didn't think this video would be so interesting to watch! Actually sat trough the whole video, didn't stop it once
I actualy watched the ENTIRE video and I didn't regret a single bit. This was awesome and I would rly enjoy more off stream content like this!
I am going through a lot in my life right now and I just had to go home from uni because I was feeling unwell, you just made my freaking day!!. Thank you so much Insym I love this type of content!!!💜💜
Totally worth it staying through all the fake outros haha I loved this series so much
Hope you get through just fine! Tip: Insym's shadows of doubt playlist is one of the most immersive, makes me forget my life at least lol
Insym back at it again with the A+ Dredge content
A+ in glorious pain and suffering
Cthulhu has blessed us with another banger from insym, my free time for the next few days has been booked.
Thanks for this completionist walk through btw. Late I know.
First video I found while trying to find a dredge playthrough and getting frustrated from other TH-cam channels ending stuff in cliffhangers, currently love your content and hopefully I don't binge watch everything in one sitting :')
I watched the whole video through start to end. Thank you so much a such an entertaining ride!
This was so unexpected but I know I'm going to enjoy it ❤️
I really appreciate the ammount of effort you put into this
An 8 hour video
Thank you insym! :D
TH-cam suggested this to me, glad it did! I appreciate that you take the time to read aloud the story elements of the game. 😊
I sat through the entire 8 1/2 hours of your video. That should count as another achievement! Good job, well done.
8:18:28 One of the messages suggests that Julie (the author, the old fisherman’s wife) throws herself into the ocean as a result of being neglected by her husband who is too obsessed with what he found in the casket + seeing the void. The fisherman then probably goes crazy and forgets it all, creating the collector subconsciously who wants Julie back. that’s my theory anyway
Also! When you first start some of the people do recognise you (the light keeper thinks you are someone she knew and the old mayor) which makes me think that YOU are the old fisherman
I'm glad you (re)did this, and I'm looking forward to your revisit to Sunless Sea. Just remember that there's a Rogue-like element to Sunless Sea. Death and inheritance are a part of progression. And be aware that the game does contain things that you can miss if you're not timely. I think the Unterzee remixes between lives so don't let it bother you.
Watched this over the past week or so, absolutely loved it, what a game and what a twist of an ending! Love your content Insym and now I'm going to go watch your In Sound Mind playthrough 😄
8 HOURS. This is gonna be amazing, I love your dedication
A game that you truly enjoy can be played for 2 hrs straight. I bought this game a month ago due to my crave with "Subnautica-like" games, but haven't started yet.
I can now understand and appreciated all the fun features, enhancements and possibilities of this game. Thanks to this video.
Insym, your videos on this game led me to buying it. What a lovely and creepy experience! Thanks for introducing this to me.
3:33:50 When I heard you internally screaming about how not worth that thorn thing was, I just began laughing because it literally says in the bio “this thing is not worth selling”
I also have only just realized that "close now" (indicating distance) and "close now" (indicating to close the note) sound different in english. One of them has an "h" sound, and the other sounds exactly like how close *should* sound.
Never watched a 8 hour video in my life before but I like every minute of this!
3:23:28
"We are not crazy" as he crashes the ship 2 m in front😂😂
InsaneSym strikes again! Thank you for everything you do, your videos are amazing!
I love that you upload the videos after you stream so I can watch on youtube later, I never miss em ❤
I asked for a completionist run on the last video of your first playthrough, and I stayed for all 8:34:41 of this video worth every minute. Love the content keep doing you!
I'm honest: I left this video on while falling asleep multiple times but somehow I managed to be awake at the most interesting parts (the beginning of course, two long times in the middle and then the last 1-2 h). And I personally like how thorough you play such a game. I can't wait to watch you doing this for We harvest shadows (the hopefully soon arriving full game) and this time awake for the whole time 😅
You are one of the very few TH-camrs I even consider starting an 8 hour long video.
I subscribed for phasmo, but i keep coming back because of content like this. These long one video playthroughs of indie games are so good.
