Thank you for being my workout companion. I often play your videos during my lunchtime workout! I don’t really make the same kinds of cards as you, but I’m always inspired by the quality of your work and the colors you choose! Thanks for the inspiration.
The card is beautiful. Thank you May I share a tip with you , for put in the foam square exactly where you want be ? Put your sentiment where in the spot you choose and bring the negative piece, where you die cut the sentiment. Put that above your sentiment and take off the sentiment. You will be able to put your foam square anywhere you want, avoiding the circle 😊
What a perfect stamp & die combo!! I like the shine that the distress spritz has in the spatter. Thank you for using the t-square ~ I was about ready to get a twitch! LOL Love the finished card. No worries that the inside is a tad off-center . . . the best human you know recipient will just be touched to receive that sentiment.
I love the colors you used for this card. The gold really pops against the pink, orange and yellow! I am so excited for this new stamp set to arrive! Last week, during the sale at Simon Says Stamp, I finished off the collections of CZ Design words and sentiments I was lacking. I love the typography you use for your word dies and sentiments.
Such a great stamp set. Pretty much covers all occasions. Your reaction with the oxides is the best - like you are using them for the first time. I love color blending with them for the ease and the look is a bonus. Thanks for sharing.
I'm digging out my Oxides!!! What a gorgeous background, Cathy. The only thing I do differently is I just put the foam dots directly on the background instead of trying to lay them down with the sticky side up and putting the die cut on them to pick them up. I "hover" the die cut where I want it so I know where the 3D dots go, put them in the right places, add the glue, add the die cut, which I can still move around to get it perfect. I'm definitely going to CASE this one! Great job!!
I just used Distress Oxides too after a long absence. I used Pink Flamingo. I was also surprised at how creamy they were & how opaque. How soon you forget.
21:33 - Place your shadow die where you want your sentiment, and then you have an outline to fill in your foam squares directly onto the card base (avoiding the embossed areas) - then place your die cut piece on top 💜
I have very few Distress Oxide inks and cant blend worth a d@€#.😢 BUT I followed along with different ink and it made a pretty card regardless. I love the colors you choose. ❤

Watched this one with Toni, too. Since we’re doing nails, it made me wonder if you could use the gold spray on your nails under the top coat. 😊❤

I was about to say the same thing...great minds think alike.😂
SO smart!
I’ve never used Distress Oxide. They look beautiful or maybe it’s the operator. Thanks
They are very creamy! Easy to use!

When I do embossing on small sentiments it never comes out good can’t read it well what am I doing wrong?
You might be pressing down on the stamp too hard when you ink it up. Maybe try several ink applications, lightly tapped?
You may be doing what Kathy posted, yes! Try a lighter pressure!
Yummy sherbet
