I have been asked this before, and I'll give you the same answer. Although Christopher is my 1st name, I'm usually called Bill, cos I was always called by my middle name which is William (after my grandad) so I was always called Bill or Wardy, but seeing as though when we sign up to something like TH-cam or Twitter etc, they always use your 1st name.
As for working, we couldn't work unless the deputies were working, and they didn't want to work, and even paid lads to stand at the gate so they couldn't go in.
I worked at Bentley near Doncaster, then Thorne, which they kept trying to open, but kept getting flooded in the shafts, so eventually they called it a day, and so did I in 89.

Lee understands the frustrations and concerns of working class people whilst the present government seem to despise ordinary people.

It's common sense to anyone with half a brain that maintaining coal and steel production whilst gradually encouraging some green technologies is the way to go,importing coal and steel made in China is nuts, the green zealots like Milliband will destroy this country if allowed to go ahead with this madness,in my opinion Mr Anderson is spot on we should be adopting china's sucessful programme of running both old and new technologies producing energy and steel production hand in hand, maintaining our energy and steel production independence, whilst giving our own people good jobs our obsession with green energy and destroying our own steel production plays us into the hands of our enemies who must be laughing their heads off.
