    I always appreciate your hard-work to make videos enjoyable for the viewers ......I have hardly seen any Motovlogger to work as hard as you Starling ........ If you are not familiar with Itchy Boots she is a similar motovlogger to Sterling. Her name is Noraly and is traveling through Africa currently. I appreciate both her and Sterling's vlogging. They are both a joy to watch.

      @@johnpagejr.7628 I've been a Subscriber and following ITCHY BOOTS for years now......and try not to miss even a single episode of her ( from Series 1) even some Episodes from the series Patagonia to Alaska for atleast more than 10 times and I love her work a lot also......but there are so many differences between Starling's Camera work and Noraly's Camera work......Noraly mainly uses GoPro camera's and Drone only, she never uses any other video camera or DSLR even when situation demands ......doesn't have much variation of shots very rare use of 2nd person's POV while Riding her Bike (except drone shots ), no variation of lens, all shots are recorded from same perspective .....on the other hand STARLING's work is kind of like a Film Making .....visually much much better......But I have great respect for NORALY .inspite of being a woman the way she explores the world ,the way she lives , the way she thinks and probably that's the reason why her contents are amazing......and invariably I have become a big fan of her......But Starling is a professional film maker....We shouldn't forget that .......so I have huge respect for both of these outstanding people.....

    Sterling, in August of 2015, I was returning from my my motorcycle trip. I'd gone from Atlanta to Salt Lake, and Grand Teton National Park. Coming back I was about 65 miles west of Steamboat Springs, and stopped to look at my Atlas and stretch. So I was parked on the edge of the pavement, on hwy. 13. I took my helmet off, was looking at my map, and drinking a bottle of water. I saw something in my peripheral vision, and turned my head. Hovering about 300 feet from me was a UFO. It made no sound, and didn't move. It was about 60 feet off of the ground, over a pasture. I was so surprised that all I did was watch it, completely without the thought of snapping a photo with my cell phone. I watched for about 30 seconds, then it zipped off into the sky.

    Great to have you back ! I’m a huge fan, from Portugal and I’m trying to learn with you on how to make long trips and make nice movies out of them . I’m heading out tomorrow to a 4 days trip and I noticed immediately that I need to charge my GoPros and my camera - if I go camping it will be hard to charge only overnight because I will also take a tablet and of course a mobile phone, so today I learned that I need an inverter and a tank bag… and some extra batteries that I don’t have at the moment !!! I will manage with the limited equipment I have now, but now I know the way… Thank you !!!

      @Liberty4Ever 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@SterlingNoren - I rang the notification bell when I first subscribed. It still says I'm receiving ALL notifications for your channel. I suspect TH-cam's algorithm prioritizes:
      1) TH-cam ad revenue maximization
      2) Suppressing certain politically sensitive speech
      3) My viewing preferences
      It seems odd that TH-cam apparently doesn't want me to watch your excellent videos. It looks like TH-cam would promote these Best Of TH-cam videos. Maybe their clever algorithm perceives some unintended political message they don't like related to rugged individualism, toxic masculinity, social noncompliance...?

My wife got me a GoPro camera and l bought a drone so l could film some of my rides this summer. I rode 10.000 miles around Iceland in two and a half month, and in that time l took close to 15 hours of short videos on my GoPro but l never gave my self time to use the drone. Great idea with the drone controller mount. I've done the same. Your eyes can easily switch from the road ahead to a quick check of the drone and back to the road in the blink of an eye. Its much safer this way as the easier but worse option is using tank bag. Looking forward to the rest of the series.

    Ah, the Garmin VI GPS.
    I think I went through 5 or 6 of them on exchanges with Garmin before giving up. I think it’s the bike vibrations that cause the screen hopping issue, because the problem happens more frequently when not in the BMW mount (when transferred to another brand’s bike that doesn’t have as much vibration damping).

    I've been afraid to put my camera gear on the tail of my bike because I don't want to shake it too much. Do you have a lot of offroad miles like that? Any issues with your camera and drone? I've read that if you shake DJI drones too much it will mess them up. I have similar gear as you do but I've been carrying it on my back. Lately, I've been wondering about doing exactly what you got on your tail.

      I took off the luggage plate and used it as a template for where to drill the holes, then attached it with some bolts and nuts.
