Thanks for taking the time to teach and explain. All of the top fish tubers have lost that because they're at their height (i.e. they've built their fishrooms out, besides Aq Co-Op) and just riding the popularity wave. The King of DIY who now does no DIY and buys everything is the prime example of that. ALSO, Jehmco central air pumps on sale right now... surprised you haven't had to upgrade already as I'd assume you're already over the 55 outlets recommended on the lph60!
Thank you! Over flow! Now I get it ...... and wish I had it! Flooded out the bedroom ~ twice, last night! (19 - 5&10 gallon betta tanks). Yep, things are a little out of control in my tiny house! But, do have a plan!! 😉 Thank you for posting all your wonderful ideas! Your a big help to me and many of your subscribers! 🤗
For drilling pvc pipes, if you want all the holes in-line (ie on the top) it works well to put it on the ground next to a 2x4 and run a pencil/sharpie along the length of board for a straight-edge. Just depends on how particular you are with such things.
Great video. If you have to cut plywood like that again yourself, invest in a cheap circular saw. Better cuts than a jig and takes up way less space then a table saw.
This is so informative! Awesome job! I'm excited to see your new tanks and future projects! You have a beautiful fish room. Out of curiosity have you ever kept fresh water nerites such as septaria porcellana? They seem like better nerites as they can reproduce in fresh water yet barely anyone is selling them!
Fantastic series! I'm wanting to upgrade my fish room to all drilled tanks and an auto water change/piston air pump system. I'm going to take the plunge and will probably need to get on the phone with Jemco. I bought my first house last year and can finally really expand the hobby. I set up a bunch of tanks but the maintenance for water changes by hand is getting to be a bit much. I had Radon remediation done in the basement, so the sump is completely sealed off (airtight). Do you think I need to have a separate one installed to create a system like this? Thanks for this and I'm loving your channel! :D
I just ordered from Jehmco and I'm super excited to build my fish room I'm gonna copy your☺️ my tanks are everywhere right now 😭 Should I start my own fish channel? 🤔
just a note, when Cory used ABS it was actually 50% cheaper than PVC .. ABS was discontinued from most all box stores for a year or so, then they brought it back in smaller qty and tripled the price.
What are your thoughts on the Edsal rack vs Gladiator rack on their 77"W x 24"D models that you use? They both look great. I'm getting ready to set up my first rack and was wondering if you had a preference?
Hi, how many tanks and air drops do have the air pump running? I am trying to determine if I want the 45 or 60 but I think you have tanks but not as many lines as I do. 2-3 depending on tank size. Thanks in advance.
Fish Boy Thanks man, so you frequently water change cos you only have a bio filter? How do you frequently water change and how do you keep the right water parameters? I'm planning to imitate your setup for my guppies. How do you control which aquarium gets the water change? Sorry I'm newbie for this. I've been your follower since the beginning.
this man is living my dream.
Yes indeed
Some day lad.
❤ me too- watching this again a year later a lil closer to it but not close enough to this dream lol
Thank you very much for this video, very detailed and informative!!

Agreed. Even a cheap battery powered circular saw would work just fine.
I can’t wait for my fish room to look like this, keep it up bro!💪🏼💪🏼💪🏼
Nice video😊👍
Very nice room. How wide are your shelves?
Wow!! Thanks for sharing, found this video very informative, keep up the amazing work

Should I start my own fish channel? 🤔
YES START A CHANNEL ID 10000% WATCH YOUR PROGRESS
I just got my pump from Amazon Ecoplus fir $69. It runs all my 12 tanks (so far) in my fishroom
How much space would you recommend from the wall to your rack so you have room for drain and airlines etc. Thanks
I leave a few inches from the bulk head to the wall so I can remove the elbow if needed
What does your water bill amount to with all that automatic changing?
How long does it take for rice-fish to spawn thank you and I hope you have a great rest of your day
What size air clear tube do you have running to the pump
Where is this rack sold at?
just a note, when Cory used ABS it was actually 50% cheaper than PVC .. ABS was discontinued from most all box stores for a year or so, then they brought it back in smaller qty and tripled the price.
Why not try using a T piece for the drainage system so you use less tubing?
Do you need to use wood for these shelfs?
What are the dimensions after u cut the plywood?
May I also ask where did you get the sponge filters from? What is their PPI?
They are hydro 4 pros from jehmco. Not sure of the ppi
Costco racks ?

I have the edsal in my livingroom with three 40g breeders. If you are going to have smaller tanks definitely waterproof with liner or stain
Your Current Setup of Fish room is called a store in India. Haahaaa
He has like 3x as many tanks as my lfs here in the states
👍👍
Dude just grab a set of Ryobi circular saw sander drill etc. 18 V and you will be set for pretty cheap No more silly sander and jigsaw for you buddy
Yup. That's what I have.
Correct me if I am wrong but I see that many of the shelves are slightly bending in the middle. Doesnt it worry you at all? :)
Nope
So there is no filtration system?
Each tank is filtered by a sponge or matten filter

I would say go for the larger pump and get a bleed off valve. You can always expand or keep it the same with the bleed valve
So basically they are connected to a one sump?
The overflow water gets pumped out of the room, there is no sump

I have a video that explains it
