@@answerman9933 No, it's because the US forcibly inflated the yen with the Plaza Accord and embargoed tons of tech, their entire semiconductor industry, food goods, software (TRON) to destroy their export economy, and then crashed their economy again along with the global economy in 2008 after it had started recovering.

Where I grew up, there was a little Chinese carry out place in my neighborhood. A tiny hole in the wall, the only seating was a bench where you waited for your order at a window. They were surrounded by fast food places, but they made the best food for miles around, and their place was always packed with people ordering from them. Tiny little places like this are true gems. No pre-packaged, pre-processed food that the restaurant doesn't cook, but just heats up and serves. Keep your fancy, high-end restaurants that barely feed you and call it art. This is true art, made by people with a passion for not just making good food, but for also brightening the day of someone who might not have had a good day. This is what true chefs live for...making people smile.

Couldn't understand each other for shit but we always had fun and enjoyed ourselves. Well we had fun until my parents showed up , I was only 6 -8 years old at that time .

No one can crack an egg as swiftly and perfectly as the Japanese! Love watching the street vendors and small businesses. This video just became my favorite. As we say in America, "Cooked with Love" or "Made with Love" certainly applies to this extraordinary woman!! Her workplace is meticulously clean and organized. All her work is so serenely carried out and she never rushes. I would so love to write a letter from America telling this wonderful woman! I bet her living space above is beautiful and reflects her love and peaceful serenity! ❤
