To those surprised to see a Link monster (without the extra monster zone too): Link monsters will not be appearing as often as other extra deck monsters will in the series and I am going to avoid the ones with effects relating to pointing to zones. But yeah, just wanted to get it out there that Link monsters' appearances will be very limited. Anyways, I hope you all enjoyed!!

[AFTER Premier] Oh I love this! Demo's duel did a good job of portraying how green he was with Duel Monsters while also throwing in some silly moments! That equip spell missplay was a fun little addition and the flashback was cheesy in all the right ways! It's also a fun contrast with how confident and theatrical Medic is during his duel. That contract with Exebeatle was a great little addition! Aight', so, elephant in the room: Beta's conversation with Alpha! She's aware that something is horribly wrong but isn't able to stop any of the scheming by herself. Alpha is in denial and doesn't seen to accept that she's been fed lies the entire time, but she's still showing some amount of care for Beta. Heavy was also the perfect character to have present for the exchange as well! He's able to relate with Beta's familial bond and seems to share a silent stare as their eyes meet towards the end. Also, before I forget: Heavy's ragdoll when stumbling across Beta and Alpha absolutely sent me! Dr. Judas keeps getting more interesting as well! He's still showing complete apathy towards the duel bots, but his relationship with his old colleague is clearly still affecting him somewhat. It'll be interesting to see how things develop. Right-o, onto Link monsters! I think they were included in a really good way! Link monsters are normally a headache since Link climbing is usually a thing in most decks, so limiting them to just one is a fair choice IMO! Link monsters aren't too different from contact fusions when you think about it, so having them appear as limited "Super Fusions" is a nice choice IMO! Introducing them in Demo's duel was a great choice. Overall this was a great episode that crammed in a lot more than I expected! The jokes gave me a chuckle and the story is making me feel miserable in all the right ways! Stellar job throughout, Zero!
Thank you as always!! And I was the one who voiced both of the dueling turrets this time! With getting into the voice acting space, I thought I'd try to voice some more roles myself without AI filters :)
Whelp, Alpha is most likely going to battle her feeling to do as she is told and the feeling to save her family. I guess while dueling Heavy for the rematch, since he'd tell her that family is the most important. Robot Doc is definitely going to try and keep Alpha under his thumb. As for OUR Doc, he has definitely picked a deck that fits him and I can't wait to see him draw more monsters to his side while cackling like the insane god he is. Demo did well, and who knows. . . He might love victory so much that he becomes a true duelist like Scout or Soldier. Keep on going boys, soon Spy will rejoin you when you crush Doc.
I don't know, Delta's dead so that leaves Alpha, Beta, Epsilon, Omega, Sigma and the Doctor. That's six to the teams 8. What happened to the red robot, and where would the bad guy team get an eighth?
@@petertilton7004 They could always summon some turrets to duel the others, or use something to separate the team at their meeting point to get them towards the towers that suck up dueling energy.
Huge missed opportunity to have Danger Ranger play Danger!s. Maybe with some secondary engine? Idk what would have synergy but also be weak enough for the power level of this series.
Two more fantastic episodes ZeroPC! Loved the transition from Scout to Engineer, so funny when media does that. Appreciated the character building, when Engi remembered losing to Combine Pyro, and Demo's link chat with his Papa. Loved the smug grins at 17:32 haha. I like the evolving sentry decks, using water and insect monsters. Very cool how Demoman gets the first Link monster summon. I suspect that Heavy will try to win over Beta and Alpha to his team so they can help each other out, now that Alpha knows that Dr Odell is not repairing Delta as he told her. I can't help but wonder if Beta knew Heavy was there the whole time and didn't expose him to Alpha. Looking forward to the next episode, excellent work ZeroPC. Shocker ending.
Glad I was finally able to get around to watching this. I was gonna do it on the day of premiere, but I came down with a nasty ear infection the day before the premiere, so I chose to sit it out for a bit while I recovered. I wasn't gonna be able to focus on the episodes with that constant sharp pain in my ear and dulled hearing. But enough about me, now that I've recovered I can pay proper attention to this installment of YGO Badlands. Judas certainly seems like he has some regrets and thoughts haunting him... though, no sympathy to spare for the dueling units. This Hank fellow certainly has left his mark on the world. How that mark pans out in the long run, I suppose we have to wait and see. Inzektor cards, though! Certainly an interesting selection, though they certainly were a force to be reckoned with back when the game was in a more manageable speed. At least, from what I've seen of them. Hornet being able to pop a card every time it gets unequipped and sent to the GY and ladybug/centipede being able to fish it out to do this multiple times in a turn seems dangerous, especially back in their golden days. And Zektrike Kou-ou seems like a good support card, good for grave setup and fishing more members out from the deck. Meanwhile, oh boy! One of the oldest archetypes in the game, Medic is running vampires! Sending the enemy's cards to the graveyard was certainly a threatening thing back in the day... before the game decided that the graveyard was pretty much a second hand. Okay maybe not quite a second hand, but with so much graveyard interaction these days compared to 2005, milling enemy cards certainly got more risky. I do like the deviation they took towards LP gaining, spending, and enemy monster stealing. Converting their foes to their cause is certainly a vampire staple in fiction. And with someone like Medic who tends to get quite manic when he has the advantage, vampires will certainly give him the chance to dominate the battlefield and terrorize his opponents into submission as the loss of their strongest monsters drives them into an inescapable corner. Run if you can, foes. Beg for mercy if you cannot run. The medic has arrived. With his army of vampires, he is the master of the night. Throughout his whole duel with Danger Ranger, I noticed Medic had the upper hand. Even when it seemed like Danger Ranger was breaking through his defenses, Ebon Sun made all of Danger Ranger's efforts useless. Danger Ranger put up a cocky front at first, but his anger at not being able to make any progress striking down Medic, as well as his lack of confidence at being able to push onward without Variable Form, doomed him well before the final turn came around. For someone calling himself Danger Ranger, he sure wasn't eager to take a gamble. And because he failed to take a chance, he had already lost. Exa-Beetle certainly was correct to complain, Danger Ranger really didn't know how to properly use his power. And speaking of Exa-Beetle. That duel's conclusion, hoo BOY. Medic certainly had no problems sewing up that match. And boy did domination feel good for him. It's always interesting when a hero strike terror into the heart of his foes like this, not many decide to take that option. And if this is how drunk with power Medic gets just from calling upon the power of Red Baron, I can't wait to see what happens when he calls upon The Undead Vampire (Or The Zombie Vampire, but The Undead Vampire honestly just sounds cooler). While milling cards can be risky, being able to mill the enemy's monster and then summon it to your field is certainly a good way to rip away a key resource. The monster stealing never ends when the vampires are around. And then we come to Demoman's debut duel, and Tavish chose tindangles! I admit, I know very little about these guys. Flip monster decks aren't something I've dabbled in often. Still, it is nice that Trinity can fish out Base Gardna. I'll be curious to see what the other Tindangles can do when working together. The few that have strength have a lot of weight to pull. Intruder, Hound and Acute Cerberus are really the only ones who can fight to any notable degree. Speaking of Acute Cerberus! It's time for link monsters to make their debut! And... yeah, I can understand why some of their mechanics aren't being put into play here. I can see that some link cards, like the Knightmares for example... they can get... complicated. Yeah... co-linking, extra linking, I had forgotten about these things. I'm more used to cards like Madolche Fresh Sistart or The Weather Painter Rainbow. Link monsters like them really only interact with non-link monsters for the most part, with Sistart just providing spell/trap protection when pointing to someone and Rainbow needing other painters where her arrows point in order to use her negation powers. Keeping it simple like that, just "If pointing to other monster, this thing can happen" or "this protection is applied", is best. Or cards like Mekk-Knight Spectrum Supreme where the condition is to NOT point towards any monsters. The condition is different, but the effect is simple nonetheless, just protection from targeting or destruction via card effects. I agree with your stance, keeping it simple is good. When multiple link monsters start pointing to each other and all doing tons of things at once... good lord, my mind can barely keep up. Thank goodness the extra monster zone is no longer mandatory. Thank you SO much for that, Master Rule 5. That said, I do now wonder what Medic's link monster will be. He has two obvious choices in Vampire Sucker and Vampire Fascinator. Both would allow him to play god in different ways. With Sucker, combining her with Zombie World could allow him to tribute enemy monsters with impunity. I bet he would get a kick out of the absolute power such a scenario provides. Meanwhile, Fascinator's ability to steal enemy monsters certainly lends itself well to his current vampire playstyle, at least if Red Baron is any indication. Though she does need to specifically tribute vampire monsters to do so, so zombina or zombie master are sadly not viable candidates for her to utilize her powers... still, I will be curious to see just which one is chosen as his link monster of choice... if either of them are even the choice in the end. Who knows? It could very well be a monster I haven't thought of! Lastly, it is interesting seeing Engie bring up this deck's shortcomings. He has a point, back in the day Genex monsters didn't work so well together for the most part and Konami seemed VERY confused about what direction it wanted to take the Genex crew in. Though, that has definitely changed thanks to his link monster, Repair Genex Controller. And I'm not even gonna speculate that anything else could be his link monster. It fits him to a T. It's a weak monster that has a powerful ability to normal summon more Genex monsters to the field in order to set up for a LOT of synchro plays. It does little alone, but is able to build up a mighty force as long as it isn't interrupted in its building. Exactly like Dell Conagher himself with his sentry, dispenser and teleporter. There's no link monster more fitting for him. And now for non-duel thoughts. Seeing Beta speak up for the first time was certainly interesting. And she is certainly more in the know than one would initially think. She sees right through Odell. And an interesting revelation, Beta and Alpha being the ones with free will. And the debut of Omega. I do like this guy's autotune voice. Gives him a presence and uniqueness that makes him stand out. And he certainly seems like he's being set up to be Odell's true right-hand bot for this story. He isn't the same build as the other dueling units. I wonder if that indicates he was built by someone different from the others... he's in the photo with the others, so he's from the old days, but he certainly is unique. But he quickly made a splash when he entered the story. Odell's orders WILL be enforced. This seems to be his purpose. And finally... well. Epsilon has seen better days. Fortunately the fix is easy. Just gotta grab a part from Dr. Odell's lab, and... oh. OH. And just like that, Alpha's idealism when it comes to the mission has come crashing down. That is... oh jeez. No wonder she's horrified. This is just like when E-102 Gamma walked into a room on the Egg Carrier that he wasn't supposed to, and he saw what was happening to Beta... though this time, I doubt it can simply be said that this is the wrong room. Alpha definitely has a higher emotional range compared to Gamma. And I can only imagine what is running through her head. Beta's words, "He's using us to get what he wants. We're tools to him." probably come to mind. Alpha's own claim of "He has nothing but good intentions for us." is also probably coming to mind as she realizes just how wrong that statement was... And with Odell being in direct communications with her when she found out... he's not dumb. He knows that she knows. What happens now... is probably something incredibly chaotic. Judas Odell's plans are beginning to spiral out of control unless he manages to get this settled FAST. If he even can. Hoo boy, that was a lot of text. But that was a lot of developments to go over. Overall, a very good duo of episodes. They feature some fun duels, good setup as to how link monsters are going to function, solid setup for future encounters with some of the dueling units, and a great cliffhanger that has one wondering just how Odell and likely Omega are going to react now that Alpha has stumbled upon the truth. You certainly have me waiting to see what comes next. But for now, thank you for the hour of interesting story development and fun card games. I hope you took a bit of time for respite after putting in so much work to get this done.
Amazing episode as well, not gonna lie I was little bummed out I didn't see Demoman summon Bagooska but it was still a great duel none the less, I understand wanting to limit Link monsters for the series since a lot of link monster are pretty broken. Also Medic going on a power trip with vampires was just perfect.
ZeroPC, Demoman doesn't want to duel PingMaster, but he wanted Soldier to take him out, only to smile at him. 🙂.17:28. Then Sniper. 🙂. 17:33. And now Engineer. 🙂. 17:41. They made him mad to play. He had no choice. 17:47. 😄😆🤣😂
The bot was hesitating because he wasn't sure if using his beetle's ability was worth taking out his only defense. But honestly, media could have won even if he didn't. Pretty sure the point was to show the subconscious fear medic ensured.
I personally LOVE the easteregg you hid in Pot of (Cheating) Greed, XD and I'll be honest, I'm not sure why Demo had a Tindangle deck, other than being a link monster, was there any special reason for that? also, I was trying to guess for a while what Medic's deck would be, the Vampire archetype fits SO well with him though, and I love it XD (also loved the visuals of the monsters showing up at the end of medic's fight, it's a good immersion effect, keep up the good work! ouo)b
Choosing Demos deck was difficult. I wanted to pick an archetype that hasn't seen much relevancy in recent days that also fits Demomans character in some way, whether that'd be his origin, playstyle in TF2, ect. With his connection to the Eyelander, I thought maybe Infernobles, but another recent TH-cam series has a character that runs the archetype, so that was out the window. I also wanted to try the Dizzy archetype as seen in GX, but it turns out, it doesn't exist, except for two cards that are only in the anime, so that too, was a no go. Then I found Tindangles, an archetype full of Flip monsters. Part of Demos playstyle in TF2 is setting up sticky traps, so I thought maybe a deck full of Flip monsters would work, but I wanted him to have an archetype and not a random bunch of Flip monsters. And thus, I ended up going with Tindangles. They look cool enough and their playstyle fits Demos similarly enough. It may not have been everyones first choice, but it's the one I'm most satisfied with. Glad you liked the episode! :)
@@ZeroPC1 ohh okay, that makes more sense! (honestly, i was expecting a Bandit Keith-styled machine deck with things like Blast Sphere, but hearing it like that the Tindangles make sense). on a side note, i remember the dizzy archetype, i kinda wish they made it a real archetype if not just to point out how terrible the censorship was on those in particular XD
@ZeroPC1 First of all, Will medic Have the beetle. I mean. We just finished seeing the old contract thing and now I'm really curious. The story keeps getting better and better. But it doesn't bring up the questions of how many seasons are you thinking about? My third and final question is. Will we see the other links on the monsters for the rest of them because, as engineers said every deck is possible of one link summit? Like I said, I'm sorry I missed the premiere. But Danm I love this series.
@@punkyt1234 This season will be the last full season. The story does need a few more episodes to conclude, so I do plan on a few more episodes to finish off the series afterwards, but don't expect another full fledged Season 4 like this one. As for Link monsters, read the pinned comment.

Thank you so much!! I appreciate all of your details!! Things will definitely be escalating from here ;)
I'm new here and really like this crossover of my 2 favorite games
Amazing episode as well, not gonna lie I was little bummed out I didn't see Demoman summon Bagooska but it was still a great duel none the less, I understand wanting to limit Link monsters for the series since a lot of link monster are pretty broken. Also Medic going on a power trip with vampires was just perfect.
17:16 no way this turret is literally Jim Carey as the mask
ZeroPC, Demoman doesn't want to duel PingMaster, but he wanted Soldier to take him out, only to smile at him. 🙂.17:28. Then Sniper. 🙂. 17:33. And now Engineer. 🙂. 17:41. They made him mad to play. He had no choice. 17:47. 😄😆🤣😂
That was a marvelous splendid special episode you made, ZeroPC! Sorry that I didn't get to reply for a few weeks cause some of us were very busy.
Hmm, I have this deck. The eyes of blue majesty.
Known as Blue Eyes White Dragon.
I have a feeling that omega is either, equally powerful as alpha, docs secret right hand or both
WERE MAKING OUT OF APERTURE LABS WITH THIS ONE🗣️🗣️🗣️🔥🔥🔥
Vampire deck for medic and tindangle deck for demoman
57:10 The Bells
Toll!
so medic using vampire's and Demo using Tindangle's, things are getting interesting
Astonishing!!
This is amazing
Let’s Go Demo and Medic!!!
Wow, just wow👏👏👏👏
1 hour damn must be good then
😮 Wow, those 2 are awesome 👍 😊
Yay the 5th and 6th installment
I'm calling you out on medic's duel he held back
The bot was hesitating because he wasn't sure if using his beetle's ability was worth taking out his only defense. But honestly, media could have won even if he didn't.
Pretty sure the point was to show the subconscious fear medic ensured.
Oh my god, Delta has been dead by now
I personally LOVE the easteregg you hid in Pot of (Cheating) Greed, XD and I'll be honest, I'm not sure why Demo had a Tindangle deck, other than being a link monster, was there any special reason for that?
also, I was trying to guess for a while what Medic's deck would be, the Vampire archetype fits SO well with him though, and I love it XD (also loved the visuals of the monsters showing up at the end of medic's fight, it's a good immersion effect, keep up the good work!
1:02:33
What is the music of demo song 32:23 Please tell me I wanna know what this song is
Reach out to the Truth from Persona 4
59:22 remind me who the villains are again lol
NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOooooooo. I missed the Live premiere. I am sorry.
@ZeroPC1
First of all, Will medic Have the beetle.
@@ZeroPC1Wait, so you're thinking of ending it at season three I mean there's so much more that can be added.
@ZeroPC1 Like the story of demos dad Possibly all of them going to a yugioh tournament There can definitely be more room for a season 4
@ZeroPC1 Heck you can even add the blue team for season 4
Where is the music from four demo man at the end of the battle. Also do you have a discord server
Ep 7
