What a cool dude who lives in the hedge house 🖤 i wish more property owners of famous locations were so welcoming to fans as long as they are acting respectful, no harm no foul
seems like 1 of the coolest women from all these old horror movies, playing up to the character and funny references, i bet everyone loved her on the set of halloween
I wish someone could sponsor this guy to visit some of horror's hallowed grounds in the UK! The Omen, Hellraiser, The Wicker Man, not to mention all the Hammer stuff! Make it happen!
What an amazing story. What are the odds that it would be the last house left and that there would actually be a surviving picture of the family who built it and lived in it. Too amazing.
I heard Robert Englund say that he actually worked on Halloween for a day or two. I think he said he helped with the leaves or something like that. That totally blew my mind. Halloween and Elm Street are two of my favorite films. There seems to be a few connections between the two.
My favorite movie of all time.. Always thought it should have been filmed in a location that would really capture the fall atmosphere , like Illinois, Ohio or Indiana .. Still came out great
hedge house owner is legit. id def let people take my hedge too but my wife would 100 percent have a problem with it. thanks for going above and beyond and actually getting some interviews with relevant people! love the vids bro
I’ve seen a few location videos but being that Halloween is my all time fav scary movies but yours is SO much more personal & I actually feel like i’m there. I got the chills a few times watching this one & now i’m off to binge watch the rest !!! Thanks so much i’m from Ohio so I doubt I’ll ever get the chance to go check these out in person but thanks to u I get to see them anyway! 🖤🎃🔪
I visited the house at South Pasadena in June 2018. Saw the original location too, stood where Ben Tramer got hit by the police car further up the road, saw the hardware store location and in Sierra Madre i had a Coors beer at the Buccaneer lounge in H3 also saw the church from The Fog BUT DAMN! I forgot to visit the cemetery and the house Alice was murdered in in Halloween II which was just near the same locations. I shall return.
Sounds like you and I are living the same life because I did exactly what you did in 2018! We were unbelievably lucky enough to be let in the church by the maintenance guy for 15 minutes to look around and take photos. If we arrived a minute later it would have been closed.
@@danmusec5634 Superb! I live in the west coast of Scotland, so travelling to LA and visiting the Halloween film locations was one of the highlights of the year. I grew up watching all the films and never did I think for one minute back then that I would make the journey and actually go there. Glad you got inside the church!
@@tomtcf76 holy cow! I thought I traveled far considering I live in St. Louis, Missouri! The church was absolutely beautiful, and I would’ve loved seeing it regardless of The Fog connection. If I get to see the lighthouse from Fog and the Silver Shamrock factory I will die a happy man. One day my friend!
@@danmusec5634 Was in San Francisco the year before and visited the Dirty Harry locations, unfortunately I had no confidence for car hire otherwise I would have drove to Point Reyes and visited the lighthouse from The Fog which is about roughly 70 odd miles away, alas there were no coach excursions that could get me there either. My country has still banned international air travel which I find completely insane so it looks like I'll never get a chance again.
@@tomtcf76 damn brother; the Dirty Harry movies are my favorite! I’m thinking we’d be fast friends. My old boss lived near the bridge in Larkspur where Clint jumped on the school bus. That area is totally different now apparently. I hope you got to see that bridge before it was demolished!
It’s cool that you got PJ Soles to appear on this video, but what about Nancy Loomis? I read on the internet that she changed her last name to Keyes and is now listed as an adjunct theatre professor on the Cal Poly Pomona theatre department directory.
I love this video! I'm actually binge watching your Halloween videos now. It was great getting to meet you at living dead weekend last year. You gave me a couple of HHG stickers and even signed one for me. Truly an honor to meet you. 🎃💀🧟

Little known fact Season 4 Episode 8 Highway the Heaven that was filmed in 1987 It was the Halloween episode titled I Was A Teenage Werewolf they used the Doyle House they even filmed the interiors of the house and the stairs match up to HALLOWEEN and in the beginning of the episode there is a party and someone looks like they are dressed as Michael Myers, but not really sure if it's him it's just a resemblance.
Yep, it's a shame they didn't film upstairs in that episode to see how it looked compared to Halloween. The party you mention was actually filmed two houses up, where the interiors of the Wallace house were shot.
Brandon Keisler I know which house that is in now too. I got inside and saw the laundry room in the backyard but they wouldn’t let me even take photos. I was just grateful to have seen them.
@@malfuncsean I can see from the latest aerial imagery that it has been replaced with a pool. Interiors were filmed elsewhere though and that location hasn't been lost to my knowledge.
I don't know why you received a sarcastic reply to your question but the answer is that "the shape" is one of the ways John Carpenter referred to Michael Myers in his original screenplay. If you look at the end credits for the 1978 film, the guy who played the adult Michael Myers (Nick Castle) is credited as "the shape" rather than by the name Michael Myers.
Kudos to PJ Soles for participating in your video 👏👏👏
This episode was made for the Halloween 25 Year of Terror dvd.
Great video content. P.J. Soles is such a wonderful person. She has been to the Chiller Expo in NJ and few times and always great to talk too.
