My takeaway from this. In an ideal world, get a granite surface plate, fixturing equipment, metrology gear. And measure every part as it comes in hoping u get the luck of the draw parts since most hobbyists are buying small qty’s & don’t have the luxury of large numbers and are completely reliant on manufacturers to be within tolerance😟

EtE,... Loving your content, sub'd IMMEDIATELY after finding it, and, enjoying everything I watch. I agree completely with this vid, and, unless something states" Conforms to NIST spec, such and such", we must accept, and, work with, they're +/- tolerances. A solution, I'm sure not financially viable to anyone involved, would be, for someone to sell thermistors/temp sensors, that have been compared to a "Standard", and, a Cal file produced that the software, ie. Marlin/Klipper/etc would use to get "Really" close to perfect, .... "ie. HomeTheatre/measurement mics/REW" ... if implemented. I just don't see many willing to spend, $10-20 ea. "Guestimate" vs 10/$7.99. ..... Can't wait to hear your thoughts/content on this............ All the Best.....
