One thing is for sure. Against Southampton we won’t have an ounce of complacency, and hopefully those two defeats means that everyone comes in completely focused. Against WBA there’s a little bit of tendency to think “ah we can definitely beat them we have better quality” and then become a bit complacent.

Will be a big ego hit for Farke if he gets beaten 3 times over the year by Martin. I think he can use those two games to plan how to get the job done. There’s potential to start in a 433 to begin with and switch to 4231 if we need to push for a goal.
thursday was brilliant and we scored early, and never let Norwich get into the game. Whilst Farke clearly motivated the starting 11 he did not need any game management - nothing needed changing. This will not happen with Southampton. If we score first we might stay in the game. If we concede, and Farke needs to make changes, he cant or wont. Not optimistic about winning this.
Need different personnel, thought Piroe was great, but you will need Bamford or Joseph up front for Southampton so Rutter can operate in space

This would be the right match to get revenge on Southampton on them for doing the double on us, but it isn't going to be straightforward. Realistically Southampton have a premiership team, we don't, so its going to be very difficult to beat them at the Wembley stadium because the pitch is massive, and whether or not Farke tatics will work! Plus he doesn't have a plan B if things are not going right. We just need to make sure we convert our chances into goals to stand a good chance and really need to work on set pieces.
Further...just hope the players focus and aren't caught up in awe of Wembley and don't get off to a good sharp start

Conor, I've been of the opinion this season that if we played any team in the Championship at our best, and any other team is at their best would would beat them. 50/50. Can't like the fact that they beat us twice, but the second game was a non-event and we had a completely different back four in the first game.
