Surfs Up

“Surf’s Up” on the south shore of O`ahu. Big waves like these on the leeward side of the island only occur during the summer months. They are created by major storms or hurricanes far south in the Southern Hemisphere where it is winter. Waves breaking across the small boat harbor entrances on the south side of O`ahu are very rare.
