I have always loved this song since the very first time I heard it from Jackie Chan... It feels like it was connected to my soul, I am having a strange yet strong longing for a time that I can't even remember.
This song describes a sad story. In China's Qin Dynasty 2000 years ago, Qin Shihuang conquered a remote country. That country dedicated its princess to Qin Shihuang. On the way home, the princess fell in love with the general who escorted the princess. Later, Qin Shihuang wanted to live forever and invented the elixir of immortality. By coincidence, Both the princess and the general took the elixir of immortality. Unfortunately, the princess was locked into the emperor's tomb by the emperor's son to accompany the deceased emperor. The general could not find a way to enter the emperor's tomb. The two lovers were separated forever. Until now, this is actually the theme song of jack chen's film myth. Interested friends can watch it

I understood he was the réincarnation of the General and so dreaming of her but not him and not an immortal contrary to her. At some point when he finds her she says I know you are not him. A very beautiful movie which shows the versatile talents of Jackie and he also sings the song himself.
