    The elements on the ride according to B&M and the parks materials are: In-Line Twist, Fly To Lie, Loop, Lie To Fly, Double Corkscrew

    This is by far the best flyer I've been on, and then I'd say it's kind of a coin toss between Tatsu and Manta. I'm not a huge fan of this type of ride, but this one was REALLY intense!

    I'm not sure if they are exactly two "pretzel loops", it felt more like a normal vertical loop, but in the flying position, and tons of other messed up twisted track that equaled AWESOME!

    • @BobbyT.
      @BobbyT. 9 ปีที่แล้ว

      There need to be more of these B&M flyers that were inspired by the Vekoma flying Dutchmen. I don't think that we will see many terrain flyers, because you need good terrain for that. You guys are lucky to have a one of a kind one there.

    • @samwilliamson2217
      @samwilliamson2217 9 ปีที่แล้ว

      Bobby T. We are lucky. Alton Towers is possibly the most beautiful park for landscaping in the world, and terrain B&Ms fit perfectly. I rode Air and Tatsu (only once on Tatsu though) and I preferred Air due to the terrain interactions and general prettiness of the ride.

  • @themeparkreview
    @themeparkreview  12 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    When "riding" a coaster, I don't really mind if it's raining or not, because that doesn't bother me. But when I have to film a coaster, there is nothing more frustrating than bad weather! It took me so many takes to get a "useable" POV, and even the one I posted had some drops on the lens. I'm a bit of a perfectionist when it comes to that. The polar opposite of this video is the "Hair Raiser" video I recently uploaded (search our channel) and you can see what a difference good water makes!

    personally, i like robbs videos especially for the fact that he doesn't shut up and makes it sound like there's no one riding the coaster. it's way more fun to watch this way. I can see why people would want "clean" POVs, but this here is just the way TPR does it and I like it that way.

  • @alexf02071999
    @alexf02071999 12 ปีที่แล้ว

    The first 3 inversions are insane. They're so fluid and disorientating looking, almost like a Zero-G Roll crossed with a Pretzel Roll crossed with a Vertical Loop. The layout of this ride actually reminds me a fair bit of a modernised Vekoma Flying Dutchman.

  • @VinceHere98

    I think what makes this B&M Flyer unique from the rest is that it has a vertical loop. Most B&M flyers have a pretzel loop (with the exceptions being this and Galactica [formerly Air] at Alton Towers), however this is the only one with a standard vertical loop. The only other flying coasters I can think of that feature a vertical loop would have to be the Vekoma Flying Dutchman coasters.

  • @Absolutecoaster
    @Absolutecoaster 11 ปีที่แล้ว

    This ride seems crazy! The first drop basically makes you upside-down, and the amount of twists and turns, you have no idea which way is up. This would be on my top 5 list of steels for sure, If i had the chance to ride it.

  • @themeparkreview
