Having my first game of OPR GF coming up tonight. So far only played GFF. Looking forward to see how army scale feels different from skirmish. Your OPR bat reps are top! Love how you favour interesting story turns over total competitiveness.
@@Efrello Got crushed. Lost 1:4 by objectives. Not too bad considering that my opponent shot 200pts out of my list before my first activation. She had a crazy successful roll there and I rolled my entire night's contingent of 1s and 2s in that save. XD
@@LukasEisenring I find that Losing a game at OPR often do not sting too much because you are always engaged at all time and usually the victory is still open even with fewer chances more often then in other games.
Just the thing to come home to after work! Hope these uploads become more regular. Throw in some other games like Age of Fantasy, Quest, and the star ship combat and it'll be perfect!
More one page rules! I hear they have a fleet battle game, would very much be a shot in the dark but think it would be interesting to see something like that.
Couple things. 1: you kept saying “I guess Ill fight back” I don’t think thats optional. 2: blast ignores cover 3: regen and like abilities are done per hit, not per wound. So a deadly six hit (spider) that lands requires 1 regen roll not 6. You heal the hit or you dont. Great seeing you all dig in though!
@@SkaredCast Notably, it only cancels the "regeneration" rule. It doesn't cancel any other "feel no pain" style rule, like the core Robot Legions army rule that gives them a 6+. I haven't watched the batrep so I don't know if it was actually Regen or not, so just wanted to clarify.
@@SkaredCast It's why the rules were changed that way. Rules like that, the plague demon one, and etc used to grant Regen, and Rending/poison was -1 to Regen rolls. They wanted Rending/Poison to be a hard counter to regen (which was otherwise oppressively good), but it was too punishing to armies whose core rules relied on it, so they changed those rules to be immune to rending/poison. And those rules do stack for extra rolls. If a Robot Legion unit has Self-Repair and Regen, they get two chances to negate a wound (unless Regen is negated by Rending, of course).
Opr isn't everyone's cup of tea. Still nice to see it being brought to a wider audience. And hey, maybe someone new to the hobby will get hooked on wargaming with it and they'll eventually try other games. That was 40K for me.
I love that you guys got around to OPR. The games are so much fun without being overly simplified.
One page rules ! Let’s gooo
Love it ❤
OPR is the best thing to happen to wargaming! love to see it. keep it coming
keep the OPR content coming! would love to see Dao or Machine Cult
Both armies look very well painted. But my gosh I'm loving those alien hives color schemes.
Love the OPR content. If a Machine Cult army is in the cards for the future, so much the better.
I’ll be playing OPR this weekend!
Great video - more opr!
One point however -
YOU ALREADY HAVE MORE ARMIES.
OPR IS DESIGNED TO USE GW MINIS AND ARMIES.
One page rules! Nice! :D
Nice battle report
Happy to have more OPR content! I would LOVE to see some Ratmen. (especially for sale on your website WINK WINK)
You and me both. Tracking down Mantic Games Veer-Myn is actually annoying.

@LukasEisenring: Just out of curiosity, let us know how did it go.

Massive OPR fan, love these videos although I need to make my Hives look better apparently. Great! Looking forward to the next one!
Blast ignores cover

I love seeing the OPR armies, but I would like to see what you do with the space elf jesters or fleets for some "counts as" action!
I love Grimdark Future.
Yooo opr lets goo. Would love to see miniwargaming models used in OPR, too!

Far better game than 40k.
Great BR! :)
18:00 the pheromones do not count as beeing moved, because the unit did not use the move action before shooting.
FYI OPR you pull models in line of sight. The ones far back behind hills cannot be hit.
That is not true
we need more OPR
Lol to 10th. Even the diehards are slowly but surely trading in 40k for opr.
Most of my friends sold their armies after covid - the few of us left - are playing OPR.
Wooooo! I love OPR. Let's gooooo!
More OPR please 🙏🏻 especially with different factions

YES MORE OPR
More!!!
you keep playing opr ill keep watching you play opr.
OPR let’s gooo!!!
I had never see Alien Hives winning a game.
Which is interesting because in the OPR community they are widely considered the most competitive army
Noticed on occasion you guys rolled Regen (repair) against rending attacks. Rending (and poison) cancels out regeneration.
Good to know 😮

@ ah, cool still
Learning so I appreciate the help !

I see OPR i like 🎉
Gonna throw some alien hate at you. "Your mother was a toaster".
More OPR please!
The Burrower won the melee since with fear it did 6 damage and you only did 4 with the robot, so the robot would be pushed back 1"
We might have counted a bit too fast there
OPR so good :)
Please do some MWG videos on OPR Firefight, the Skirmish game...PLZ....
I thought you hated Robots lol
I just came here to laugh at how few views one page rules gets
Laughter makes it all the more fun let’s gooo 😂
