One late autumn night, the disciple awoke crying. So the master asked the disciple, “Did you have a nightmare?” “No.” “Did you have a sad dream?” “No,” said the disciple. “I had a sweet dream.” “Then why are you crying so sadly?” The disciple wiped his tears away and quietly answered, “Because the dream I had can’t come true.

As always the best movies and the most moving stories are cleverly hidden by the best directors inside of the canons of a genre not overtly smeared all over the movie with unsubtle metaphors. It's funny to see all the praise it got for being thrilling action when the movie really is a reflection on life itself filled with metaphors, the genre is the canvas not the point of the movie. And it's so perfectly shot, edited, written and acted that it's easy to forget about this insane soundtrack.
action sequence, way they portrayed was remarkable itself (specially capture and escape scene). Surely it was thrilling experience but yeah the dark plot characters and protagonist character's true emotions towards whole life must be praised more. Though i always fascinated by OST, story, cinematography, acting n everything as everything was top notch...... one of the rare gem indeed
@@noonesperfect careful, I'm not saying the action in the movie isn't good. After all when I say the directing is amazing I also mean action sequences, chase sequences, martial arts sequences. What I was referring to was the "essence" of the movie being about how life is "bittersweet", hence the title, but it got praised by critics as basically just some well choreographed action sequences...
@마하드 dude i also like this movie n soundtrack.....bt m still confuse with ending.....i mean it was really d dream ? or he died or alive? where that girl,,,?

이때 영화들이 진짜 낭만 있었는데..지금 아무리 기술이 좋아지고 촬영기법이 좋아져도 흐린 화면에서 오는 느낌은 절대 따라올 수 없음
