- The eldamon trainer is from Battlezoo, so it's 3rd party and not made by Paizo. Which is why when I heard about it, I immediately dismissed it.
But...upon reading further... this might be one of my favourite classes. It's literally like playing Pokémon, but you get to play it alongside your friend who's a Robin Hood swashbuckler and your friend who's a telepathic psychic.

Legally distinct pocket dimension monsters!
It's like Summoner, but instead of getting one big friend you get several smaller ones.
Oh, I think I get it! These are like Demons from Shin Megami Tensei?!
As someone who was just thinking "How can I use Pathfinder 2e to play Pokemon?", thank you for highlighting this.
OogaTon is deep in the pockets of Big Cheese
Cheese is an important partner in our shared vision, but ultimately, I serve the people. And the best way to do that is through massive tax breaks to Cheese.
I literally started looking into the Battlezoo stuff /this morning/ your timing is amazing.
Finally, my players can pester me to befriend even weirder creatures
I love that this is getting attention. Thank you!
Eldamon go!
I had to check if this came out on April 1st 😂 what a wild class!
You should do an additional video on the "Elemental Avatar" since it's in the same book
I would love to if it fits in the schedule! I need to balance different types of videos a bit so maybe it will come around. I still haven't even done half of all the first party classes heh.
Fire Squirrel, heck yeah!
Thanks for covering this 3rd party class, looks pretty fun
That is so cool
This sounded like an april fool's joke.
I hope Nintendo doesn't issue a patent suit
They would never do th- *dies via injuction*
This seems like a component to do an Anime All-Stars party campaign. Ash, Naruto... I dunno, what do the kids watch these days? You know what I mean!
Yasss thank you
Thanks!
Also, i am looking fowards to the Exemplar and Animist videos, also Commander, but that one will take a while
Commander could be a top class for me, based on what we've seen. So I'm looking forward to it too!
man, summoning spells are the horse of pathfinder, huh
Positive comment
Just like Digimon right?
How dare they make unique designs, everyone knows monster catching games MUST look EXACTLY like the designs from THAT game wait why am I being sued it's not my fault uwu
The designs are really good too!
I liked your GOBLINS are Unpredictable book!
Powers for eldamon seem... Like 4e dnd? Or it seems like an ideal version of Pf2e, if you want martials to DO non-skill actions other than Strike or reload. Big fan of that.
Now that the tarrasque has been quietly retired, I wonder if a group of eldamon trainers could defeat it by exclusively using Eldamon and a few items.
Awesome, I'm glad you liked it! I never played 4e, but it could be. The power system definitely opened my eyes to how much room there is for alternative magic systems. I like Vancian, but half the classes use it in some way. It would be so cool if different magic traditions used different mechanics to cast their spells.
@@KingOogaTonTon Yes, I strongly agree! I think the updated Inventor's updated Overdrive mechanic could be adapted for spells, or for recharging unique spell-fused items. Or the Ley Line mechanic on 2e AoN.
would it be interesting if pokemon moves also had to be refreshed in battle
So how do i convince my dm that i should be allowed to play this?
You can tell him it was written and designed by Mark Seifter, who co-created Pathfinder 2e and who is often cited as the mind behind PF2e's perfect balance!
