In this video I show you an amazing liquid that changes color depending on how you look at it. This property is called dichromatism. I show you how this works and why we can perceive different colors depending on how we look at it.

I hate when people say this. Not everything is interesting to learn. He has the option to pick only the fun stuff, and doesnt have to teach you everything about it. The only thing making him different than a really good teacher is that he can cherry pick what he wants to teach. give your teachers more credit.

There’s a lot of consideration that needs to be made even when doing interesting things like this, like whether the school actually has the resources for it(not every school necessarily has the materials), and matters of safety regulations too. If it were up to the teachers without any restrictions in place, they’d definitely want make things as interesting as they could. These are just things which people tend to not consider when it comes to comments like these.

Yeah blue is a great number, but 9 tastes kind of like a tasty mix of rootbeer, butterbeer, and pure sugar. And horseradish is a good color, but I prefer the fourth dimension.

When you see a video of something spinning quickly, the lense can't capture enough frames to make it look right (usually), so the frames that _do_ get displayed will end up looking as if the object is spinning in reverse.

@@apoorvpradhan5933 it's the same reason. There is no biological need for our eyes and brains to process things accurately above certain speeds. So when that threshold is reached your brain will start to fill things in for you that may not be completely accurate

I know what mode is, but i think to determine the colour of that liquid you would take the mean(average) rather than mode

I know this was three years ago, but if I interpreted your question right, we already can slow light down, it's just a matter of what material it's passing through, that's how we bend light through refraction.
if you mean, what if c were slower in general...I don't know, there's too many implications there I think 😂, I think the biggest impact for us, physically, is that gravity moves at the speed of light, so "information" would take longer to travel? like things wouldn't fall as suddenly on Earth?

Hey. Love your videos. Could you create a video of of dissolving the maximum amount of one substance in water - in both hot and cold water, and then go to the extreme to create a super-concentrate....maybe sugar, salt etc.
